Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Andrade.
Hi Christina, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started at the construction-ready program. I got a job in the construction industry with a company named Envision CS. They had a partnership with the Beck Group, I got hired to work with the beck group. The project was the Nobu Hotel in Buckhead. Once we finished the project, I got laid off due to a lack of work. I was then connected to JE Dunn. I have been with them since January of this year. I enrolled at Atlanta Tech to get my associate degree in construction management.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Going through the program, I didn’t have any income. It was hard, but it was a sacrifice I had to make for a better life.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am in construction, I love to work with my hands and build things. I am most proud of my journey getting here. I have been on the Nobu project and the Jamestown project, and I’m on another project as I speak.
