Today we’d like to introduce you to Dae Coca.
Hi Dae, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My father is a singer, so I’ve always picked up a microphone. I’ve been singing since a child, writing my first song at 11. Since then I’ve continued to write and put out music across all platforms, also winning multiple showcases around Atlanta that have opened doors for me to countless other opportunities. Today I continue to put the work into growing my brand and fan base while also maintaining the consistency in my music.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As much as I wish it was it wasn’t lol but I take it as character development. I spent a lot of time in my younger years getting caught up with the law, so everytime I would have to go “sit down” per say, it would mess up the momentum of whatever I had going on. I feel like if I had the focus then that I have now I would’ve seen a different outcome.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a singer, rapper, songwriter, performer. I’ve dropped several projects, most known for my singles like “Work”, “Drip”, “ Doublecross” and several others. I am most proud of the fact that I remain my authentic self and in my music I am exactly who I say I am. My first project brought in over 45k streams & tho that number may not be big to some it was a big accomplishment for me. What sets me apart from others is I don’t follow the trends I always do what Coca wants to do in my own creativity and I stand behind it.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Going to the country for Thanksgiving is a core memory for me. We’ve literally done that every year since I can remember growing up. I love being around my family.
