Today we’d like to introduce you to Da’von Wildy
Hi Da’Von, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hello, I started modeling by taking a few random photos and keeping them in my phone. Once I seen that I got the hang of taking photos I started networking in my city and went on Instagram to find a professional photographer that would be suitable for me. Then I started working with different photographers from different cities until I came across my main photographer that I have now who had the same vision as me. After that we started working hard almost everyday and that’s how I got to be where I’m at today.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My path has not been a smooth road because of many obstacles I faced throughout my life. One struggle that I have faced along the way was being in the company of toxic and negative people in which hindered my growth as a person. While being around toxic people I started to develop a negative outlook on life which made me have self doubt in myself. Another struggle I faced in my life was having to go through depression. While going through depression I was having many wild thoughts and having little to no energy to do things that I normally enjoyed doing. All in all, with the help of God, my mother, and friends I was able to get help with the obstacles I was facing.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a model, photographer and I have my own clothing brand. I mostly specialize in modeling and photography. I am mostly known for my goofy funny personality and my creative modeling pictures that I take. One important thing I can say that I’m proud of is that no matter what cards I was dealt in life I still came out successful while still having a positive mindset in the end . Another thing I can say I’m proud of is having the opportunity to model for NYFW multiple times and becoming a brand ambassador for Rockstar Original clothing brand. Some things that sets me apart from others is that I am very ambitious, supportive and I don’t let my troubling past define my future. Also, I feel like my humor and my look as a whole sets me apart from others as well.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
The only thing that I feel that matters most to me is giving my mother a better lifestyle overall. This is very crucial to me because she has played a tremendous role in my life and honestly the reason why I’m where I’m at today. She has definitely motivated me even when I wanted to give up and has helped with my problems while facing problems of her own. Overall, this woman is the strongest woman I know and I won’t be satisfied until she’s set for life.
