Today we’d like to introduce you to De’airrian Wooten
Hi De’Airrian, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is DeAirrian Wooten, and I was born in Macon, GA, on July 4, 1999. From the moment I took my first steps, I knew my life would be about movement. Growing up, I was always drawn to rhythm, whether it was music, dance, or simply the way the world flowed around me. Dance became my language, my form of expression, and it saved me during some of the darkest times in my life.
Hip Hop and Contemporary dance are my heart and soul. They allow me to tell stories without saying a word, to show emotion in every move I make. The passion I have for dance isn’t just about the beats or the moves; it’s about the way it made me feel when I needed it the most. It gave me strength when I thought I had none, and it opened up a world I never knew was possible.
But dance isn’t my only way of expressing myself. Photography and videography became my other outlets, allowing me to capture the world the way I see it—through my lens. Every photo, every video I create tells a story, just like my dance does. I founded Official Destined Media Productions to bring those stories to life, blending the art of movement with the power of imagery.
Over time, my dreams grew bigger. I want to dance for the artists who inspired me—Chris Brown, Usher, Missy Elliott, and Ciara. They’re legends who shaped the way I move, and I know that if I continue to work on my craft every single day, I’ll get there. It’s not just about the dream, though; it’s about the journey.
I’ve learned that growth is about more than just skill; it’s about persistence. Every day, I strive to get better, to push myself past the limits I’ve set for myself. I’m still growing, still evolving, and still working toward my goals. And no matter what, I know I’m meant to create, to inspire, and to share the magic of movement with the world. This is just the beginning of my story.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s hasn’t always been smooth I have a lot of down days and I feel discouraged. After I pray and as for direction God always come through and give me exactly what I need.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m DeAirrian Wooten, and I’m a dancer, choreographer, photographer, and videographer. I specialize in Hip Hop and Contemporary dance, where I blend raw energy and emotional depth in every performance. My choreography is inspired by my love for dance and how it’s been a source of strength during dark times. I’m not just about creating moves, but telling stories that come from a personal place, connecting with audiences in a way that feels real and raw. I’m also known for my work in photography and videography, capturing moments through my lens that reflect the same emotional power I put into my dance.
What I’m most proud of is how I’ve used my art to overcome personal challenges. Every performance, every shot I take, carries a piece of my journey. It’s not just about what I do—it’s about how it’s shaped me and how I continue to grow. My story and the experiences I share through my work are what I value most.
What sets me apart is the emotional depth and authenticity I bring to everything I do. Whether I’m on stage dancing or behind the camera, I’m always channeling my personal experiences into my art. I don’t just want to create something that looks good; I want it to feel something. My work isn’t just for the audience to see; it’s for them to feel, to connect with. That’s what I believe makes my approach unique.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Being true to yourself and always standing up for what’s right. Never make fun of others that are less fortunate and be an upstanding citizen.
