Check Out Edward Eliesya J Wallace’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Edward Eliesya J Wallace.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Fashion is in my blood. I started designing in 8th grade. Originally from NY and raised in NC. One summer I had a pair of Levis jeans from NC that were my favorites and a Louis Vuitton sweatsuit from NY also a favorite but my jeans had rips on holes and the sweatsuit did to except the monogrammed parts. I cut out all the monogrammed parts from the sweatsuit and placed it into the rips and holes of my jeans how they do now. That was a huge success in 8th grade. Fast forward to 2019 I opened a celebrity hair show with my custom clothes I made on, modeling. That was at a sold out coliseum in Fayetteville NC where I was introduced to that crowd as model and fashion designer where my career started. I am now Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award Winning Celebrity Fashion Designer, Actor, Model, Radio Host and CEO.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has definitely not been easy or smooth. I’ve lost my husband of 14 years who helped me start and build Eliesya J’s Boutique, Jermaine Alston, my muse, critic and best friend Jennifer Richardson, my mother who was a front page model and my biggest supporter and my youngest brother who would give anyone the shirt off his back that was brutally murdered William Earl Wright Jr. His murder was very hard as we’re all these losses but his I took to heart. In tribute to not only my brother but everyone we have lost to guns I created a brand against Gun Violence called Echelon Drip and 50% off everything sold is put back into communities affected by gun violence. My legacy. I’m currently looking for investors and brand ambassadors.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
