Today we’d like to introduce you to Heather Winsor.

Hi Heather, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started entering my daughter in pageants way back in 2007 when we lived in Savannah Georgia. And I found a great group of friends that helped us get started. Especially when I had no clue about pageant fashion, I was able to rent dresses for her to wear. When my 2nd daughter was born, i started building our dress closet. And when we left the army, I turned our small dress collection into a rental business. It has grown larger each year and Ive rented all over the U,S,A

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
With any sport, pageants bring its own set of challenges! From picking the right designer to order from. To finding the right coach that can lead you to the crown in the style of pageantry your competing. Even though you’re on stage alone. To really succeed, you must have a strong support system behind you.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I work directly with several high-end pageant dress makers. And am able to order directly what size, style and color dresses I need. So I can stay on top of pageant fashion trends! And if i don’t have what you’re looking for, I can get the perfect dress made for your upcoming events. As im always taking dress requests and happy to help you pageant prep in any way I can.
