Hi Helen, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Life presented me with many obstacles, but I refused to let them define my future. Growing up as a refugee and facing numerous challenges, my journey has been anything but ordinary. Born in Africa, a refugee in Sudan, and raised in Canada, I ventured to the United States at the young age of 18 with determination and a deep belief in my worth.
My journey is a testament to choosing resilience over surrender and transformation over stagnation. Atlanta became my chosen destination, a place where I had no clue about my future but possessed unwavering confidence! My path included many different lifetimes, venturing into modeling, music videos, and bartending during nightlife in my younger days before evolving into an entrepreneur. The struggles, from “immigrant” to multi-business owner, taught me valuable lessons. I learned to take responsibility, closing doors to negativity and opening pathways to abundance.
I navigated through toxic relationships, legal troubles, and an earning for a life meant for something greater. It required major changes though starting with shedding a victim mindset to claim my destiny as an empowered woman. My journey led me to embrace a balance of my spiritual awakening and financial awareness, realizing that prosperity is BOTH an internal and external journey.
My mindset played a crucial role in the growth of my spiritual healing and financial journey. Shifting from a victim mindset to an empowered one allowed me to take control of my life and realize my true potential. I learned by harnessing the power within ourselves and cultivating a positive, abundance-oriented mindset, we can manifest financial success and spiritual alignment, creating the life we desire.
Financial awareness, spiritual awakening, and holistic wellness became my focus. Learning the power of self-love, diving into ancient practices, and knowledge of the women’s connection to the cycles of the moon energy and other things I learned on my journey through mentors and travel has transformed me into what I would consider a lightworker in this realm!
During my spiritual journey, I was given a vision to create a wellness center that would be able to teach and nourish our community. When I got the vision, I had no idea what magical sanctuary creator was tasking me to create! In 2019, I signed the lease and started the renovation process. I ended up going through so many trials and tribulations from the beginning due to being hit with the pandemic one month after signing my lease! Immediately contractors stopped coming out and the landlord still wanted full rent because the corporate building didn’t qualify for any forgiveness! On top of learning the troubles of dealing with an old building and ending up having to rewire and rebuild EVERYTHING.
It was TOUGH, honestly BRUTAL and I wanted to give up SO many times!! It took me almost 2 years to finally finish all the renovations!! Buttt, nothing good comes great and I kept reminding myself that during it allll and no matter what I didn’t give up after all the trials, now we have a thriving beautiful community luxury SANCTUARY making an impact and changing lives as a staple location right in the Historic West End Of Atlanta despite opening in the middle of the pandemic hurdles! The Zen Bar is a holistic Luxury Smoothie bar and spa which focuses on total mind, body, and spirit nourishment and alignment for the soul.
We have amazing CHAKRA smoothies that are specially crafted with special herbs that help to activate each chakra energy to help with activating those energies! We also have vegan food, snacks, and all your spiritual needs from candles, crystals, sage and so much more. In our event space, we hold many different classes like our weekly Saturday Yoga Class with our teacher Alexis Wright @EmpressTree our women’s circles, private events and so much more! We also focus on full body detox and nourishment through our Spa services! Zenful ceremonies that will leave you in bliss! We offer everything from the Yoni Rebirth ceremony, which is an ancient ceremony which helps to cleanse and rejuvenate the womb space!
It’s known to help with bacterial infections, menstrual cramping, and even fertility! We offer Ionic Foot Detox which helps pull all the metals and toxins out of your body! Along with our Zen Healing Massages and Facials! Our goal is to create a zenful experience that will not only have you feeling rejuvenated and nourished but TRULY help the body and encourage a healthier lifestyle! I truly have put so much thought into ensuring to be able to assist people in our community with having access to healthy lifestyles and nourishment every day!
Now, as Coach Helen, aka Sacred Secrett, I blend spiritual and financial coaching. My diverse experiences, including Owning multiple six-figure businesses infuse authenticity into my coaching.I understand the intricacies of running thriving ventures and the importance of nurturing the mind, body, and spirit. With this framework of spiritual and financial focus, I guide aspiring entrepreneurs to structure businesses, attain credit, and use OPM, emphasizing holistic success.
My journey is a testament that transformation is possible. From being a refugee to a single mother, hustling multiple jobs to becoming a multiple business owner and coach, I’ve embraced every challenge as an opportunity. My passion for making a positive impact extends beyond business and finance. I’m also the founder of Travel with a Purpose Retreats—a non-profit mission-based healing retreat that goes beyond self-discovery. These transformative journeys involve inner work coupled with acts of compassion towards the less fortunate around the world. The profound teachings of energy exchange and interconnectedness enrich the retreat experience, fostering deep personal growth. Participants visit orphanages to contribute to the lives of children and families in the lands they explore. Some of the Travel With A Purpose Retreats have taken place in Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Morocco to name a few!
Having traveled extensively and gained profound insights from diverse cultures, these experiences have deepened my understanding of the immense power that resides within each individual. Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
In my opinion the most important thing I can do is to show up with integrity in everything I do, add value, and most importantly LOVE! My mission with everything is to be able to uplift and inspire by showing others whats possible and leaving them. better than I found them.
I believe if I can change even just one person’s life than I have absolutely created success! My journey has been far from easy but still with the faith, guidance, Belief and protection of the Divine Mother and Father I am certain to be able to assist with shifting the frequency of the planet!
