Check Out Holly Smith’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Holly Smith.

Hi Holly, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My passion started when my son was born in January 2020- that’s when I realized this is my calling, to document precious, fleeting moments of people. My goal is to create images that evoked happiness, and joy by having a stress-free atmosphere. April 2021 is when I officially became a small business owner.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Running a business has its ups and downs. We learn how to overcome these ‘bumps’ in the road. I’m very blessed to have my photography business. I really don’t see things as struggles- It’s more of a learning curve.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in Lifestyle and Wedding photography. My style of photography is timeless, true to color, with a photojournalist approach. Everyone’s story is beautiful and my goal is to convey that through my images.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I see the need for photographers/photography services more in our industry for the next 5-10 years. I believe, the experience of our “Covid” days has put things in perspective of how precious our lives are, we aren’t guaranteed tomorrow. As a photographer, I want to capture those candid moments of the season you are in-to eventually passed down as an heirloom for families to come.
