Hi Jake, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I am an Atlanta Content Creator who got my start on YouTube and translated it to a growing audience via short-form content on Instagram and TikTok. I would say the reason things have built for me in this area is through my consistency and quality. While the consistency has kept, I truly think the quality of my content has only elevated which is why I am here today.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not, in this field you are submitting to an algorithm, that has no personal relationship with you. This entity will choose what it decides to make successful, and not. In many industries there are controlled variables that lead to the overall trajectory of success, with social media I think of it more like the Wild West.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am an internet personality, comedic content creator, writer, and producer. I am currently in the process of translating into mixed media and dropping my first music project this spring called “WHAT WE WANT.”. “WHAT WE WANT.” is my first EP and by far the most proud of any work I’ve created yet.
