Check Out Jane Hollman’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jane Hollman.

Hi Jane, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Studio Entourage was born from a simple belief: that a home should be both beautifully designed and thoughtfully planned around the people who live in it.

Our founder and principal designer, Jane Hollman, has spent more than two decades in the Atlanta design industry. With a strong background in business and client services and years of running her own firm, Jane saw a gap in the market for a design studio that could balance creativity with structure, beauty with functionality, and vision with real-world execution. That vision became Studio Entourage.

From the beginning, the firm was built around collaboration. We don’t just design rooms, we help clients reimagine how they live in their homes. Our passion is in the details: kitchens, baths, bars, entertainment spaces, and all the “special” areas that truly make a home feel personal. Whether it’s a renovation or a new build, we carefully plan space, design cabinetry and specialty millwork, specify trim and lighting, and curate every material selection to create a cohesive, livable result.

What has truly shaped our growth is our process. We believe that a renovation or new construction project should feel exciting—not overwhelming. That’s why we focus on being highly organized, transparent, and collaborative. We walk hand-in-hand with our clients through every step, acting as their design advocate while helping them make confident decisions. Jane remains fully involved in every project, working closely with each client to ensure their home is not only beautiful, but efficient, intentional, and deeply personal.

Our story is really a story of relationships, between people, spaces, and ideas, and our goal is always the same: to create homes that support our clients’ lifestyles and bring their dreams to life in a positive, joyful way.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The design industry is fast-moving and ever-changing, and one of the biggest challenges has been learning how to grow while still protecting the quality, creativity, and personal connection that define our work. As demand increased, we had to refine our systems, build a strong team, and create processes that allowed us to stay highly involved with every client without losing the boutique, hands-on experience we’re known for. There were also seasons of learning how to say “no” by only choosing projects that aligned with our values and long-term vision rather than simply growing for growth’s sake. That clarity helped us define who we are and how we want to serve our clients and made sure that every client project had our full attention.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
At Studio Entourage, we specialize in creating thoughtfully designed, highly functional homes that feel as good as they look. Our work spans full-home renovations and new construction, with a particular passion for kitchens, baths, bars, entertainment spaces, and the special rooms that bring people together. From space planning to assisting in cabinetry design, millwork, lighting and material selections, and selecting and purchasing all furniture and accessories, we take a holistic approach to design every layer to work in harmony. We are much more than your traditional interior design firm.

What we’re most known for is our ability to balance beauty with livability. We design homes that are not only visually striking, but deeply practical and spaces that support our clients’ lifestyles, routines, and long-term needs. Every project begins with listening. We take the time to understand how our clients live, what matters to them, and what they want their home to feel like. From there, we craft a design that is uniquely theirs.

What we’re most proud of is the trust our clients place in us. Many of our relationships extend far beyond a single project, and much of our work comes from referrals. We’re also proud of the collaborative culture we’ve built, both within our team and with our clients. We act as advocates, guiding homeowners through what can be a complex process with clarity, confidence, and care.

What truly sets Studio Entourage apart is our combination of creativity and structure. We pair a strong, well-organized process with a highly personal design experience. Clients know they are supported every step of the way and there will be no guesswork, just a clear path from vision to reality. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all design; every home is a reflection of the people who live there, and that philosophy is at the heart of everything we do.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
We see the design industry continuing to move toward spaces that are deeply personal, highly functional, and intentionally planned. Clients are becoming more educated and design-savvy, and they’re no longer just looking for something that looks good, instead they want homes that support how they live, work, gather, and recharge.

One of the biggest shifts is the emphasis on thoughtful space planning and flexibility. Homes are being designed to do more and also have hybrid workspaces, multi-use rooms, wellness-focused areas, and entertaining spaces that feel just as comfortable for everyday life as they do for hosting. Function is no longer secondary to beauty; the two must work hand in hand. More and more clients are wanting to bring outside hobbies and activities into their own homes so we are seeing an increase in designs for spas/saunas, gyms and specialized sport rooms like pickleball courts, golf simulators, and VR game rooms.

Technology will continue to play a role as well in both how we design and how clients experience their homes. From smart lighting and integrated systems to more advanced design tools, the process will become even more seamless and collaborative. Ultimately, we believe the future of the industry is about creating homes with meaning including spaces that feel curated, efficient, and emotionally connected to the people who live there. The heart of design will always be human, but the way we bring that vision to life will continue to evolve.
