Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine King.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Growing up, I’ve always seemed to have a passion for music, fashion, art and staying in tune with all the latest trends. In 2014 I was thrilled and excited about expecting the arrival of my first child. I wanted to be hands-on with everything during my pregnancy which led me to plan and curate my very own baby shower. As the years passed, I found myself continuing to plan and design special events for family and friends. Although creating for events initially began as a hobby, I realized my obsession was actually my passion to express, create and share those beautiful experiences and memories with others.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Transitioning from a hobby into a career/ business hasn’t necessarily been a smooth road. To properly manage, maintain and operate your business, it takes a lot of discipline, patience and dedication than the average person could ever imagine behind the scenes. I’ve struggled with burnout, finding your niche and doubting my worth and value. I honestly would tell anyone that you really have to be dedicated and all in for your craft and art wholeheartedly in order to substantially build and benefit beyond future endeavors.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
There is a lot of risks taking that can occur with establishing an structuring a business. Starting up your business sometimes may have you taking some losses monetarily before you actually begin to see a significant profit.
