Today we’d like to introduce you to Jazmine Rose.
Hi Jazmine, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started in cosmetology back when I was in high school in New York in 2017. That’s when my love for nails first started. It wasn’t until Covid happened. That god finally gave me the resources, time, and ability to fully practice my craft.
After I finished my first set of nails and I saw my client happy leaving beautifully. I knew that making others feel beautiful off my talent is something that made me happy!
Throughout the past five years, I’ve done nails in multiple different states. I have had multiple different salons and got the chance to meet many beautiful people! Coming to Atlanta and seeing the culture has been very amazing. Getting to know all my wonderful clients here has been great! From getting to travel to do celebrity nails to meeting amazing collaboration artist! It’s been wonderful
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been a long road, and I would say to anyone that gets discouraged is never give up on anything that you love to do. As long as you love what you do the money will follow! It’s not easy being the first CEO of a company and having to do all the research on how businesses and LLCs work, fund your business, and just maintain everything, all while still trying to just live life! Knowledge is power! But No matter what I was going Through in life, I always try to find time and resources to invest into my business. Although I did attend cosmetology school, 90% of my skill is self-taught, and there are always new trends that you have to learn and keep up with to learn along with being a content creator, but at the end of the day, I will tell anyone don’t give up and chase your dreams!
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in acrylic nails and not just regular acrylic nails. I love to do extra-long with many different hand-drawn designs and diamonds. I’m also very proud to announce acrylic toes as one of my specialties and I’m very happy that I can provide the option to my ladies to get both their nails and feet done in one sitting. It says me apart being able to Provide custom matching set to each and every one of my lovely clients. Being able to let them explain to me a vision they have in their head and me bring it to life is an unimaginable great feeling, making my clients feel beautiful.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
A big characteristic that’s tied to my success I would say, has to be being optimistic and always being positive. Everything happens for a reason. Bad Times don’t last and throughout my whole life, no matter what I’ve been going through. I still will always find time for my business I still would always find a way to better my craft. Also, I would say being determined and hard-working, nothing comes to those who don’t wanna work for it! I’ve been fully booked. I’ve been not booked at all, but as long as you keep pushing forward, great things will happen.
