Check Out Jeffrey Gershon’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeffrey Gershon.

Hi Jeffrey, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My fitness journey began when I was 18 years old, during my freshman year of college. At the time, I was training with the goal of playing football at the collegiate level. However, after sustaining an injury, that dream came to an end. What started as a setback quickly became a turning point — it was then that I realized my true passion was helping others perform at their best.
After completing my degree, I became a certified strength and conditioning specialist, allowing me to work with a wide range of clients — from youth athletes and everyday individuals to older adults looking to move and feel better. Over the years, I’ve continued to refine my approach by learning from top professionals in the field and constantly expanding my knowledge. I felt like I was on the right path, both professionally and personally.
In my early thirties, I decided to return to school to earn my master’s degree and deepen my understanding of human performance. Not long after finishing, I faced a new challenge: a back injury that forced me to completely rethink the way I trained. I could no longer rely on the same high-intensity, high-frequency style of lifting that had defined much of my earlier years.
That experience shifted my perspective — and ultimately, my mission. Today, my focus is on helping people move well and live pain-free by teaching them how their bodies are truly meant to move. My goal is to show that a healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive, and that fitness can be achieved on your own terms.
Through my work, I aim to empower others to build strength, resilience, and confidence — not just in the gym, but in every aspect of life.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not. Injuries have been a setback at times. As well as getting my name and brand awareness to increase. A lot of people are also sceptical about working with other trainers as many people have had bad experiences.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At Peak Physique ATL, I specialize in science-driven, individualized training for men and women who are serious about improving strength, body composition, and movement quality. Our programs integrate three critical pillars: technique, nutrition/hydration, and recovery/sleep, in order to support sustainable results.

What sets us apart is our tailored approach—we don’t offer one “cookie-cutter” solution. Whether you’re working toward muscle gains, pain-free movement, or general wellness, we conduct a detailed diagnostic, then build a custom plan with you. From virtual sessions to in-home training and in-studio personal training, we meet you where you are.

I’m most proud of the transformations our clients experience—not just in how they look, but in how they move, feel, and live. Watching someone overcome long-standing mobility issues, regain confidence, or finally see measurable progress gives me immense satisfaction. It underscores our mission: to help you move well, live pain-free, and achieve your best version of yourself.
In short, we’re not just about lifting weights; we’re about building sustainable performance, movement resilience, and lifelong fitness habits. That is what makes Peak Physique ATL unique—and why our clients trust us to guide them.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
My aim when working with people is to teach them what they need to know. I don’t plan on being anyone’s trainer for the rest of my life or there’s, so I strive to educate the people I work with.
