Check Out Jemmie Watford’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jemmie Watford.

Hi Jemmie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started writing and producing music when I was in my early teenage years in Alabama. My art skills allowed me to come to the Art institute of Atlanta where I stood out amongst art and music students. After a stent of being in a prominent singing group, I began managing other recording artists and writing professionally for more established recording artists.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There were some financial instabilities along the way. Fundamentally the severe awareness of a lonely journey. Meaning I was doing it all by myself. Father was in prison, mom was not focused on participating in my progress. It was all on me to figure it out.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Somehow, people are drawn to me. Don’t know what that it’s or where it comes from. But as a creative, it’s often difficult to get into the room. I’ve never had that problem. Once people meet me, it’s as if we become family. There’s a bond that leads to business and other relationships relative to success. I feel that’s what sets me apart.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I’d hope parents are paying attention to the wonderful non traditional gifting and talents their children have. Today genius is valuable. People are making a shocking living from song writing, music production and overall gifting. Be aware of the strengths your children or even yourselves may possess. Theses things may not only change your lives, but can change the World.
