Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenn Newton.
Hi Jenn, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It’s been a bit of a winding road! Before today’s version of With Love Paperie, I actually owned a coffee shop (Mugs and Laurel and May) that included stationery and gifts which is where With Love was born. I’ve always loved creating experiences and connecting with people, and that space let me do both. We closed the store right before everything shut down with COVID. It was a bittersweet time, but it also gave me space to figure out what was next.
I started working from home and found myself digging deeper into design — especially stationery and invitations. It started small, just helping small businesses and some other stationers, and it slowly turned into something bigger. I actually love everything about weddings and am surprised that I didn’t find my way into this space sooner than I did!
Now I run With Love Paperie out of my home studio, creating custom wedding invitations and stationery that tell each couple’s story. It’s still about that same sense of connection — just on paper instead of over a coffee cup.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I don’t think anyone starts a business expecting it to be smooth — and honestly, that’s part of what makes it so rewarding. There have definitely been challenges, especially being a one woman shop. But that has also pushed me to grow in ways I never expected and to stay true to the business owner I want to be.
One of the best things I’ve done is build a community of other female business owners who understand the ups and downs. They’ve become my sounding board, my cheerleaders, and a reminder that we’re all figuring it out together.
I’ve also pulled my husband into the mix — he helps with all the behind-the-scenes projects now and puts the majority of the invitation suites together — and it’s been such a joy to share that part of the business with him. The road hasn’t always been easy, but it’s full of moments that remind me why I love what I do.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I design and print custom wedding invitations and stationery that tell each couple’s story in a way that feels personal, beautiful, and timeless.
I specialize in full-service, custom designs, guiding couples through the entire process from concept to finished suite. Most of my clients come to me because they want something that feels truly them — thoughtful, timeless, and one of a kind.
What sets me apart is the expertise I bring to printing, the way I guide people through the process to make it feel simple and stress-free, and how I collaborate with each couple to turn their vision into something tangible.
What I’m most proud of is that it’s mostly just me in the studio, running the vintage presses for letterpress, adding finishing touches, and connecting personally with every client. I’ve been able to grow the business to serve couples all across the Southeast, which I think is proof that authenticity, craftsmanship, and genuine connection never go out of style.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
There are a few ways to work with me! Most people find me through my custom wedding invitations, but I also print for other designers and stationers who want their work brought to life through letterpress. I love those collaborations; it’s so rewarding to combine creative ideas and make something beautiful together.
Beyond weddings, I also take on corporate projects like event invitations, branding and marketing pieces, stationery, and client gifts. There’s something special about helping other businesses create pieces that feel elevated and memorable.
The easiest way to connect is through my website or Instagram. Whether you’re a couple planning your wedding, a designer looking for a printer, or a business wanting something beautifully custom — I’d love to chat and see how we can create something meaningful together.
