Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Rives
Hi Jennifer , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I first discovered permanent jewelry in such a special and personal way. My journey began when I decided to get matching bracelets with my daughter. The experience of picking out the perfect pieces, getting them custom-fitted, and sharing that moment together meant so much to both of us. It wasn’t just about the jewelry—it was about creating a lasting bond, both in terms of the physical jewelry we wore and the memories we built. That simple act of sharing something permanent brought us closer, and I knew it was something I wanted to share with others.
I started to realize how meaningful these pieces could be for other people too. It’s not just about the jewelry; it’s about the moments we create and the connections we make. Whether it’s a mother and daughter, best friends, or a couple, permanent jewelry is a way for people to mark milestones, memories, and special moments in a way that feels truly personal.
The more I shared that experience with others, the more I fell in love with the idea of helping people celebrate their own meaningful moments. I enjoy the process of seeing the joy it brings to others when they get their own pieces—whether it’s a bracelet, necklace, or anklet—and the sense of connection that comes with it. It’s such a beautiful way to commemorate something unforgettable, and I feel lucky to be a part of that experience for others.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting a small business can be incredibly rewarding, but it also comes with its fair share of challenges. Starting a business involves a lot of risks, and the uncertainty can be overwhelming. There’s always the fear of failure, whether it’s due to market conditions or competition in the industry. As a small business owner, I have to wear many hats—marketing, sales, customer service, finances, and more. Balancing all these responsibilities while maintaining a healthy work-life balance can be incredibly difficult.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
