Check Out J’Kira Hall’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to J’Kira Hall.

Hi J’Kira, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started dancing at the age of three and of for the recitals you needed makeup done, I fell in love with the process of getting my makeup done. Once I came of age, I started doing my own makeup and instantly became intrigued with learning new techniques and strategies. By the age of 17, I started my own makeup page and built my clientele. Giving it the name Juno by J’Kira. Inspired by the goddess Juno, I am hoping to help women cultivate and stately display their beauty for any occasion.

I chose this name as I have grown not only in my makeup skills but mentally and physically as a woman. I want to help every woman feel beautiful, empowered and alluring. Makeup has given that to me and I am so excited I am getting to share it with others.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road, I am a full-time college student in my final semester of school. It is difficult finding the balance between school and own a business but I make it work.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a self-taught makeup artist, I am constantly learning and trying new things trying to perfect my craft. I’m known for enhancing natural beauty, my motto is “Less is always more” and every face I’ve done represents just that. A woman never needs makeup but it’s always a want to feel a little dolled up. I’m most proud of winning the Miss Black Georgia Southern University Pageant and being able to do my own makeup as well as some of my pageant sister’s makeup for the photoshoot. This sets me apart from all of the other contestants as well as other makeup artists being a college student and a queen.
