Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaden Tranum.
Hi Kaden, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
this idea I had all started years ago, I’ve always had a passion for design—whether it was drawing & doodling as a kid, experimenting with Graphic Design software in my free time, or helping friends and family with their personal projects. But for a long time, I never thought it could be more than just a hobby. It was intimidating at first, Taking that leap as a college student from having a everyday job to starting your own business. It was not easy. But what really pushed me to make the jump was the desire to create something meaningful and impactful for others, something that allowed me to build and innovate every day.
And that’s when the name Tranum Graphics popped in my head.
I immediately started to peruse this idea like a freight train. I started making logos and posters and all kinds of designs for my company. Tranum Graphics was chosen because It felt like the perfect way to express who I am and how I wanted to create a space for fresh, innovative, and impactful designs.
I remember the early days—long nights spent learning the ins and outs of starting my own business. From setting up my website to navigating the legal and financial aspects, and making sure I had the necessary resources and tools to start my business. it was overwhelming at times. But what kept me going was the vision of what Tranum Graphics could become: a multimedia, design Agency focused on creating unique visual experiences for clients who wanted something more than just “good enough or Average.” I wanted to push the boundaries of creativity, offering Graphic Design, web development & design, Photography, Videography, Custom printing, and digital media services that would truly represent the heart and soul of each business I work with.
One of the biggest challenges at the beginning was finding clients. Without any prior reputation or portfolio, it was hard to get people to take me seriously at first. But I stayed persistent and didn’t let anyone stop me. I started by reaching out to local businesses, attending business events and networking with tons of people which slowly but efficiently helped me build my portfolio.
It wasn’t long before Tranum Graphics got its first real breakthrough. A local startup company reached out for branding assistance, and that project ended up being a turning point, “One Logo changed everything”. The designs I created resonated with their target audience, and it helped them elevate their brand in a way they hadn’t seen before. That success opened more doors, and the momentum started to build. when multiple people asked me to design their logos, then I got to make websites, take headshot pictures for companies that contracted me, and create all types of media for clients.
Today, Tranum Graphics is more than just me working late nights in my living room. It is my way of giving my talents to the community. I have been blessed to have worked with a wide range of clients, from small startups to established companies like AT&T, and every project has been an opportunity to learn, grow, and refine my craft.
But even as I’ve grown, one thing has remained the same: my commitment to delivering custom, high-quality designs that tell a story for your company. Whether it’s through branding, web design, or marketing materials, I approach every project with the same dedication and care that I put into those early days when it was just me and my laptop, because excellence is what I strive for.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
