Check Out Kaleb Jackson aka Cash Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cash.

Hi  Cash, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
The journey of my career began with YouTube at the age of 15. Moving to a new state at the time was rough, so I began to document my life as I grow through high school and explore different interests. Originally, it began with sneaker and basketball content which peaked the interest of others in this demographic. This allowed me to create a family-oriented support system in which my viewers can essentially grow up with me, vice versa. As time progressed, I graduated high school and began to express my love for high fashion and music. Given I am a lot older now, switching up my content was a big accomplishment. I am not a freshman in high school anymore. I now wanted to deliver an experimental, mature approach to my YouTube videos, fashion sense, music, and most importantly mindset. I was ready to show the side of me I was afraid to show in high school.

I was ready to push the narrative of free thought. You can be whoever you are in your dreams. This resulted in less “flashy, clickbait titles” to more insightful, aesthetically pleasing production. A far less pretentious photoshoot-esque sense of style, rather a more personal, cohesive, put-together look. Lastly, a more daring creation of sonics that challenges me to push the barriers as a musical artist rather than creating a complacent sound appealing to all, except myself. In other words, I became who I wanted to be. Making decisions like such has garnered a supportive community that accepts me holistically. Whether it be modeling for VANS, sponsorships via YouTube and Instagram, to gaining over a million streams on my music, the supporters are my base. Without them, none of this would be possible. They push me to become the best version of myself which is likewise on their end. Some came, some left, but the ones who genuinely connected with my personality from the beginning, have seen me grow from a boy to a young adult which is the most beautiful thing in the world.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has definitely been a struggle to say the least. Firstly, I am grateful for the position I’m in to be able to inspire and motivate across the world. Nowadays, we get so caught up in the numbers and stats and forget how far we have come. But reverting back to the original question, yes! It has been a bumpy road, but I got the tires for it. What goes up, must come down. I have had peaks of growth, but on the other side, I have had extreme dips in interest as well. Specifically, when I began to be myself authentically, the adult version of me did not resonate with those who came when I was a kid in high school. However, this was expected because I know people grow and change. It is all about mindset. Rather than forming a negative approach to a decline in engagement, look at it like you are building a stronger, more authentic family. Everything happens for a reason!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Currently, I am a full-time content creator! I specialize in the production of YouTube videos, fashion, personal styling, modeling, and the production of music. Gratefully, I am known by all of these traits, but the rabbit hole of artistic expression began with my love for YouTube. I began creating videos documenting my interest in sports which then led to me finding a passion for self-expression through clothing. Given, fashion and music are somewhat parallel worlds, I began to express myself through music as well. All explorations of my interests have been documented for my supporters to see on the internet which allowed them to embark on this journey through life with me. I am most proud of being able to live freely and express myself through all forms of art, without being judged or feeling out of place.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
My definition of success is fulfilling your purpose in life. I wholeheartedly believe, everyone is on earth for a reason. You may feel lost until you find that reason, but when you do so, it’ll be the most blissful feeling you could ever imagine. Work towards that purpose every day. No amount of money, stature, or social ranking can equate to fulfilling one’s purpose in life. Whether it be indulging in volunteer work to make a change, becoming the best musical artist you can be, or to simply love and protect your significant other while raising your children, everyone has a purpose. Find yours and do the absolute best you can. The outcomes may vary, but ultimately doing what you love is a success.
