Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaspar Gyesi.
kaspar, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started making music when I was nine years old, beginning as a producer. Even back then, I always wanted to be an artist, but I didn’t have the confidence to record my own music, and I didn’t have access to a studio or the knowledge to record myself.
When I was fourteen, I stopped making beats and made the decision to pursue being an artist full time. I began writing consistently, even though I didn’t release my first song until I was sixteen. I recorded and dropped my first track in December 2024, and I’ve been keeping the momentum going ever since.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been a pretty smooth road so far but I am fully aware that every road comes with its own challenges
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
One thing I’m really proud of is staying consistent and believing in myself even before I had releases out. I spent years learning, writing, and building confidence, and once I finally dropped my first song, I made sure to keep pushing forward. Just committing to the journey and trusting my growth means a lot to me.
I think what sets me apart is that I really took the time to build before putting anything out. I started in music at nine years old as a producer, so I understand the creative process from both sides. Even when I wasn’t releasing, I was writing, learning, and developing my sound. When I finally dropped my first song, I didn’t treat it like a one-time moment, I stayed consistent and kept pushing. I feel like that patience, combined with my background in production, gives me a different perspective as an artist.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
I’m still early in my journey, so a lot of my networking has been organic. I focus on building real relationships instead of chasing clout. I focus on supporting other artists, producers, and creatives, and staying active in my local and online communities. I’ve learned that being genuine goes a long way. As far as mentors, I try to learn from everyone around me, whether that’s other artists, engineers, or people further ahead in the industry. What’s worked best for me is staying consistent with my music, showing respect for people’s time, and letting my work speak for itself.
