Check Out KT The Arch Degree’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to KT The Arch Degree. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Born in the Virgin Islands of Christianstead, St. Croix, Kamani Tait’s (K.T. The Arch Degree) involvement with health and nutrition has been inspirational from the start.

At the precipice of birth, mother; Annette Thomas; faced fatal complications with extremely low iron levels. Refusing a blood transfusion, Annette reached out to Dr. Sebi who gave her Maya; a tonic increasing hemoglobin; which proved to save both their lives. Annette soon became a wife of Sebi educating herself in the uses of herbs and all-natural healing agents.

Soon thereafter, Usha Herbal Research Institute; the brainchild of Thomas and Dr. Sebi; established itself as a wellness organization specializing in the research and development of African herbal healing modalities. While growing up under the tutelage of Usha Institute, Kamani witnessed AIDS, blindness, cancer and various diseases healed through natural, non-pharmaceutical remedies.

At the age of five, Kamani moved to the states and met biological father, George Edward Tait As a Pan-Africanist and poet laureate of Harlem, George Edward Tait holds the esteemed title bestowed to one other individual, Langston Hughes. Under his father’s supervision, Kamani familiarized himself with African arts including but not limited to drum, capoeira, mixed martial arts and hieroglyphics (medu neter).

In this same year, while still considered a toddler, K.T. presented the three states of matter linked to the importance of the African flag to an audience of elders among which in attendance were Dr. Ben and John Henry Clark. The dynamic presentation of this young soul brought the entire room to their feet in applause and awe. By the age of eight Kamani continued to build his speaking accreditation delivering his fathers’ original work “I Am A Black Man” to groups of hundreds. He continued to live with his father through junior high and attended Ausar Auset; a privately funded vegan school. Since fifth grade, The Arch Degree ranked immaculately in the field of science; even surpassing his peers with high school level scores on the regency exam, a test for upper-class students to determine strength and weakness of study. Thereafter, Kamani associated with an after-school program where he studied microbiology, biochemistry and physiology with the elder group.

After high school, Kamani gained the opportunity to work beside one of Dr. Sebi’s most respected clients, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. He joined her creative team and contributed three tracks to her solo artist album, Super Nova. As a part of Lisa’s inner circle, he again noticed the positive effects of proper nutrition and decided to delve deeper in the matter. He also took his experiences in the studio to use music as another medium to heal through sound. His latest songs being Moss, Flo-State, Pirbright, and The Way.

In his time with Lisa, Kamani began to notice his innate ability to reveal underlying themes of popular films while visiting brothers Paul and Phil Moreland commonly referred to as Blue and Red Pill. After viewing a lecture by Phil Valentine where he showed the metaphysical themes behind blockbuster hits, he decided to utilize his innate gift to decode Hollywood.

Following Left Eye’s passing and that of his brother Damany, Kamani was left questioning his life’s purpose. He decided to pick himself up and began work at a doctor’s office with life mentor, Donald G.Hooker. There he trained on high-end medical equipment focused on, nerve conduction, bone density, segmented pressure, ultrasound and x-rays. In his tenure of employment, The Arch Degree observed patients who sought help for pain only to become addicted to prescribed medication. Through private practice, he along with Hooker not only weaned those but, cured them of their medical woes.

In, 2018 KT was presented with the rare opportunity to take on Erykah Badu as a client. Satiated by the effects of her health improvements she requested he also prepares her vegan meals becoming her private chef. In addition to Ms. Badu KT has also assisted Andre Benjamin of Outkast, Tamara “Taj” Johnson-George of SWV, Professional NBA player Jaylen Brown, Actress Nikki Beharie, Actor Timon Durrett, and more.

With over 30 years of intense study, Kamani Tait excels in the knowledge of ethnobotany, alchemy, physiology, anatomy, metaphysics and nutrition including its effects on the human body. Through Hollywood Decoded he recognizes the ease in communicating the intellectual, metaphysical and mental health benefits through film.

It is with constant practice and counsel, Kamani lectures at various venues throughout the Atlanta area, across the United States, and the world. Currently the CEO of So Ionic Botanicals, an online store providing top-tier herbs/superfoods, running Herbal University and online herbal preparation institute to help those who want to learn the art of herbology, and hosting wellness retreats with partner Laree Gardner through our company GreenLife travel & retreats; taking people out the stressful cities and bringing them to paradise in the Caribbean to heal. Sharing the knowledge of stingless bee honey and other electric foods, he works to spread information on health, medicine and nutrition with the mission to take people back to nature.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The current social environment does not support natural healing modalities. We are programmed to have drugs be our only option. We also do not know what real food is because everything is processed and saturated in artificial additives. Lastly, we are not aware of the harmful effects of non-native emf frequencies. Most diseases originate from the microwave blue-lit world we currently live in.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Lecture and do workshops on Natural healing. Teach and online herbal preparation course. Do wellness retreats. CEO of an online health product store. I am most proud of being a father. I had a very unique beginning being under the tutelage of Dr. Sebi and being introduced to psilocybin at such a young age.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love that Atlanta is a forest sprinkled with cities. Trees are the lungs and nerves of the earth coupled with the mycelium network. The culture here has been the driving force for over 20 years in regard to music dance and style. Though it’s not a tropical city the winters are mild.

I am not a fan of the traffic or going through 3-4 seasons in one day.
