Check Out Larencia Bright’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Larencia Bright.

Hi Larencia, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m Larencia, a wife and mother of two. I’m originally from FL but moved to GA about ten years ago. Funny enough, my bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management led me to real estate. I started in real estate about five years ago after attending a career fair my senior year of college where I met a real estate agent who had spoken with me and mentioned that I should consider being a real estate agent. So I got licensed and began practicing assisting first-time homebuyers primarily with the purchase of their homes. Now, I am a real estate broker assisting homebuyers, luxury clients, and various individuals on the sale of their current homes. I absolutely love what I do, it is such a privilege that I get to assist with such a big goal and help various individuals acquire wealth through real estate.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I wouldn’t exactly say smooth. (laughs) Real estate is a shifting business and it has ebbs and flows. In my business you only eat what you kill; so if you don’t have clients you’re not getting paid. Establishing a business is never easy, Time management, back-end systems, adequate marketing and return on investment are just a few struggles for any entrepreneur, including myself at some time in their business journey. As well as am I spending enough time with my husband and children, am I nurturing my friendships, business relationships, It’s a lot to juggle. Tenacity is what sets you apart because oftentimes, the reward is on the other side of the bumps you encounter.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a Luxury real estate broker here in GA; we services the metro Atlanta area. I specialize in assisting buyers, sellers, and investors obtain wealth through real estate. What sets me apart from other realtors is my client experience; I really take the time to get to know my clients and their families. By the time you close on your home we’re scheduling play dates with the children, brunch, etc. I also invest in my client-closing experience. Owning a home is a huge accomplishment! So whether it’s professional photography, personalized closing gifts, Starbucks at the closing table- I do it all!

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Oh, this is a great question: I see a big shift in the real estate market in the next 5 to 10 years. The market has currently shifted from an intense sellers market to now more of a buyers market which means there’s more inventory on the market and buyers have more room to negotiate the terms of the contract. The main reason for this is due to the increasing interest rates, because the rates are higher, buyers buying power is decreased to accommodate for the high-interest rates. I do feel that this shifting market will shed light on the experienced real estate professionals from the novice because as your client’s trusted real estate advisor you have to learn how to pivot and represent your client’s best interest no matter the state of the market. It’s not as easy as we make it look..
