Check Out Lonny P’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lonny P.

Hi Lonny, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I had a love for music since I was younger. In middle school, I played the trombone in my school band and in high school, I was in the marching band. I also played piano. I have been rapping since maybe eight. I just started taking it seriously on April fools of this year, when I released my first song “gas”.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been smooth for the most part. The hardest thing is consistency and staying motivated. So much goes on in your personal life that sometimes you neglect your passions.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I rap and I’m starting my own clothing line “Bakior”. I’m proud that I finally took a leap of faith and went after my dreams. Many people are afraid to do so and I faced fears etc and started going after it. I feel like I have my own sound. I don’t try to rap like anybody else. I stay in my own lane and creative world.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I used to be too nervous to go after rap because I didn’t know if I was good enough. But when you really love something none of that really matters. All that matters is you’re doing something you love. A lot of people hate on you because you’re doing something they can’t.
