Today we’d like to introduce you to Lowell Dancy.
Hi Lowell, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My spiritual journey began in 2014, but it was in 2018 that I truly started to embody the knowledge and wisdom I was gaining. I embraced a path of self empowerment regardless if what I was learning was deemed taboo. However, I remained focused on by being practical and staying true to the knowledge and wisdom no matter the spiritual test, life’s events rather good, bad, or indifferent. Choosing to go through this process I started to analyze myself in which I later learned I was conducting deep shadow work.
I learned that self-mastery requires listening to your body and quieting your mind. While an early attempt at being a vegetarian I later realized it wasn’t for me. However, because I was studying Dr. Sebi, it led me to becoming mindful of what I eat. I became deeply conscious of what and how much I ate, that infamous water plant, sea moss became part of my daily routine. This regimen offered profound benefits: my weight remained stable, my skin cleared, my hair flourished, and, most importantly, my mind gained clarity. Anxiety and depression lost their overbearing hold, replaced by a deep sense of focus and mental openness.
Today, I channel this personal transformation into my professional calling as a Master Life Coach specializing as the Mindful Visionary. I also created a brand message named UNLTD LIFE, which is an acronym meaning U Need Life To Demonstrate Liberation Integrity Fearlessness Elevation. The symbolism within my logo reinforces this foundation, representing the choice to live a liberated life. My mission is to help clients evolve and transcend by grounding them in the present moment. By teaching powerful mindfulness techniques, I help alleviate the debilitating effects of anxiety and depression, allowing clients to maintain focus and clarity in the present moment. My expected clients, are the youth, veterans transitioning, and formerly incarcerated adults. I’m here to guide clients by translating their newfound clarity into a concrete vision and purpose, guiding them toward their own UNLTD LIFE.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It was not a smooth road. I was put in certain situations where I had to move with integrity and be fearless. I got out the military for choosing to smoke over drinking alcohol. During that time in my life, I felt I needed to do one or the other, I stopped drinking because there were moments when I didn’t know how I got home or through the military gate. Post military I had to liberate my mind and learn how I can elevate myself. The biggest struggle was 2018-2021, when I didn’t know if I was going to jail. Long story short, I got pulled over and I had my weapon (I had out of state CCW) and 8.6g of cannabis. At the time the legal limit was 10g or less for Maryland however prior to court the lawyers made it seem like I had large amounts of cannabis so they attempted to give me 25yrs with no parole. In the state of Maryland they call it a NEXUS crime when you have drugs and a weapon in the same vicinity. So one of the charges was Possession With Intent To Distribute; granted that wasn’t the case listening to my parents I accepted an Alford Plea and got felony probation. Yes, I got out the situation without a bid but, I’m currently a felon. However, this black swan event, not only did I find myself; I miraculously birthed the brand UNLTD LIFE in the process.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am US Army veteran 2008-2015, I worked as a Human Resource Specialist. Post Army, I worked in Hospitality, Mortgage Department with Wells Fargo, and Store Manager. And graduated from Morgan State in the process. Since I been in Georgia I coached youth basketball and football ages 10-12. I’m currently focusing on my Sea Moss business, UNLTD LIFE Brand, writing an informative book that will broaden our minds, and Coaching clients.
What does success mean to you?
Success to me is what empowers and fulfills someone to feel accomplished. It could be simple as, I’m going to go to the gym or cook dinner today or I want to complete this “To Do List” to feel accomplished.
