Today we’d like to introduce you to Lynique Browning Bey.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I got started in this industry because I naturally had a passion for hospitality and being accommodating to others. It’s something that has always been totally gratifying to me to be able to assist others and building trust and a solid reputation while doing so. It has opened many of doors for me simply by people referring me and speaking highly of my client services.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being that I’m originally from Los Angeles where everyone is doing everything and the same thing, it can definitely be competitive. That’s why I am always staying on my toes by trying to think outside of the box. A lot of learning comes from trial and error and you definitely have to be open to taking suggestive criticism. I’ve had family doubt me and even sometimes so called friends. But when you have a vision and goal that you are serious about, that’s when you sometimes have to activate your tunnel vision and leave the negativity on the side of the road. I’ve had struggles to where bookings have slowed down tremendously due to COVID. This is when I started implementing changes and figuring out how else could I service someone during this time. There’s always someone needing help and things change, so this is why it’s important to know how to pivot accordingly.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As far as the work that I do, I own a full-service concierge and travel business who provides personal and business services to those in need. I assist with project management, event coordination, travel arrangements, event staffing, beauty services and more. I am an 11 year licensed esthetician and makeup artist, I am a certified travel specialist with over 70 credentials and certifications, I’m also a TIPS certified bartender and mixologist. I specialize in hospitality of any and all sorts. I am known for being a one-stop shop and go-to source for just about any and everything you might need. So instead of driving yourself crazy trying to put pieces of the puzzles together, that’s what I do! I am most proud of myself for growing my business on the scale that it has grown in such a short amount of time. I’m proud of the fact that I’ve been able to not only service your everyday 9-5 working class but I’ve also been blessed with the opportunity to even provide my services to some of the biggest names in the industry such as Paris Hilton, Snoop Dogg, Diddy, The Game, Justin Beiber, Tiffany Haddish, Teyana Taylor, Matt Barnes, Big Sean, Scott Storch and more just to name a few!
How do you think about luck?
I’m not one who personally believes in luck. I believe all things are meant to happen within God’s timing.
