Hi Megan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve been a Travel Advisor for the past seven years, and what began as a side hustle has grown into a true passion. My journey started when friends and coworkers discovered I was a former Cast Member at Walt Disney World Resort and began asking for help planning their magical vacations. That initial joy of helping others turned into something much more. Last year, I joined Travelmation—a premier agency known for its dedication to client service and industry expertise. I have had the opportunity to focus on deepening my knowledge to better serve my clients. The more I learned and shared, the more word spread, and I’ve been honored to help many families and individuals plan unforgettable getaways. I plan a wide range of vacations, including Disney Destination trips, all-inclusive resorts, cruises, and theme park adventures—like the exciting new Epic Universe at Universal Studios Orlando.
One thing many people don’t realize is that my services are completely complimentary. Most travel companies already build a commission for a travel agent into the price—so without using an advisor, clients are essentially missing out on a valuable service they’re already paying for. By working with a dedicated advisor, you get expert guidance, personalized planning, and insider tips at no extra cost.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the biggest challenges I face is helping clients see the value of working with a travel advisor in an age where so much information is available online. It can be easy to think you can, or should, do it all yourself. But in today’s world, where everything is more expensive and people are busier than ever, your time is incredibly valuable. Why spend hours sorting through blogs and videos to plan a vacation when you’re already paying for the support of a professional just by booking? Most travel suppliers include a commission in the cost, whether you use an advisor or not—so by working with one, you’re simply taking advantage of a benefit already built into your trip. It’s about making travel easier, more personalized, and ultimately more enjoyable.

What truly sets me apart is the foundation of my travel career: my firsthand experience as a former Cast Member at Walt Disney World Resort. Disney was my first travel love, and that passion for customer service continues to shape how I serve my clients today. From the magic of the parks and cruise lines to the immersive experiences of Adventures by Disney and National Geographic Expeditions, I understand the level of service and attention to detail that make Disney Destinations so exceptional.
My goal is to deliver that same level of care to every client I work with. I find the most joy in seeing families return home not only happy, but inspired to travel again. I especially love planning multigenerational vacations—there’s something incredibly special about creating shared experiences and lasting memories that span generations. It’s those moments that make travel truly unforgettable.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
My family helped open my eyes to the travel industry—not just through encouragement, but because they work in it themselves. Their example and support gave me the confidence to follow a path that felt right for me, even if it wasn’t a traditional 9-to-5. My dad always reminded me that doing what makes you happy matters most, and that mindset has stayed with me.
My husband has been my biggest cheerleader as I’ve grown this business. When I decided to take it to the next level, he was right there—helping me compare agencies, talking through ideas, and making sure I kept moving forward. His support pushed me out of my comfort zone, and I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without him by my side.
