Today we’d like to introduce you to Melvontae Reese.

Hi Melvontae, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
So I am from Louisville, Kentucky. I moved to Atlanta to pursue my hairstylist career as a Loctician. I was formally a clothing designer for the past decade. I have a friend who is a celebrity hairstylist who recently opened a viral salon and wanted me to be one of the stylists so I agree agreed and moved to Atlanta in hopes of becoming a celebrity Loctician and that’s where we are today .

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
So it’s been challenging so far because I have to rebuild my clientele I have to rebrand myself, and I also have to prove to everyone in this new city that I am as good as I am so really the struggle is just adjusting and trying to build my business back up as as it was in Kentucky.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
I would like the people to know that outside of me being a Loctician I am also a model, actor, clothing, design, designer, and I sing as well. My brand name is Stayahead and I also have a new movie coming out which is called homecoming Two tune in to see me and new things are yet to come.
