Check Out Monica Nichols’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Monica Nichols.

Monica Nichols

Monica, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am a mother of 7 and a certified professional Life coach. I’ve always been a counselor or advisor, but I decided to turn that into an actual thing to do. I took the classes, and in one of my presentations, we had to do a role-play session.

My classmate was actually brought to tears when the session was over. She said I was so professional and while in the process, she began to share her real story. That catipulted me into wanting to help women.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not a smooth road. As I stated, I’m a mother of 7, so that in itself was a task.

I struggled with trying to have sessions, be a mom, be a wife, and work full time.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As a certified Life coach, it comes with a lot of struggles and downtime. Downtime because now, a lot of people are veering toward clinical therapists, so my business has started to dwindle. I’m most proud of how my children turned out. Being that I was juggling so much, they all have turned out so great, and although I probably don’t tell them often that I’m proud of them, I truly am.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you.
Honestly, I’m not a believer in luck. I believe in God and blessings. Trials and tribulations. I’ve had them both, blessings and tribulations and the blessings have been great.
