Today we’d like to introduce you to Monique Fuller.
Hi Monique, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey to becoming a Master Cosmetologist started at a very young age in my hometown, Greenville, SC. I always knew exactly what I wanted to do, & where I wanted to be. I appreciated the art, creativity, & the connection to self-confidence the beauty industry offers. I was completely consumed in learning everything there was to know about the profession & began shadowing my childhood hairstylist. I consistently practiced on myself, family & friends… my vision & ability to create was impressive! At 18 yrs old, I became a licensed Cosmetologist, graduating my class w/ high honors. I began growing my clientele in college, where I also earned a Bachelor’s degree studying Business Entrepreneurship w/ a minor in Non-Profit at USC-Upstate. I continued to build my clientele working full-time in a salon. I attended classes & hair shows to keep learning & perfecting my craft! I decided to step out on faith & move to Atlanta, GA in 2019 to expand my career. Since my move, I’ve met so many amazing people & gained opportunities that has taken my career to the next level!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course, the road wasn’t smooth! I was in a new, bigger city, rebuilding my clientele. I attended so many networking events promoting myself was my top priority! Late work nights turned into early mornings, but I was determined to not give up or lose my faith & I kept going!

I’m a licensed Master Cosmetologist, & owner of Fuller Beauté. I specialize in healthy scalp/textured hair care, & natural glam makeup services. I work behind the chair & also in TV – Film. I’m known for promoting hair wellness & creating flawless looks. I’m passionate about using my gift to instill confidence in others, empowering & helping them embrace their true beauty.
I’m most proud of the work I’ve done to get myself where I am today! I’ve built an amazing clientele base & achieved my goal this year of working w/ a major tv network, like BET as Hair Department Head. I also worked w/ the popular shoe brand Nike which was such a dope experience!
What sets me apart from others is simple. I put God first & stay true to myself. I’m currently focused on just growing & glowing!
