Check Out Natajuah Thomas’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natajuah Thomas.

Hi Natajuah, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my business as a small hobby in 2019 during my senior year of high school. I was also in a business class in school and had an assignment to create a business plan, presentation, and create a pop-up for it. It was a competition and I won it. I knew then, I was meant to be an entrepreneur. I stopped during my freshman year of college due to not having time but COVID hit and it motivated to get back into it. Ever since then, I’ve been running my business while being a full time student. I plan to continue to elevate my business as I continue school.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth road at all. During COVID, I lost my grandparents and aunt to senseless violence. This took a big toll on me but eventually motivated me to keep going because I knew they would want me to.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am also a Student Behavior Analyst. I’ve been in the field of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) for almost 3 years now. I grew the passion for ABA when I had an assignment researching it in undergrad. My mom also gave me more insight on being a RBT (Registered Behavior Technician). That’s where I started. I’ve always had a passion for working with kids with disabilities. Watching the kids progress and grow overtime is the most rewarding career to me. I am working towards becoming a BCBA now. It is not an easy journey at all but my passion for the field drives me closer and closer everyday.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
The Notion app is my best friend for organizing my classes and daily crafts! I also love canva. I can be fully creative and colorful with presentation and other graphic needs.
