Today we’d like to introduce you to Robyn Phillips-Gibson.
Robyn, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Would you believe me if I said my business was birth through my pain. I remember vividly trying to understand the complexity behind my birth but never was granted that answer. The uncertainty of who I was, lead me to search for love in all the wrong places. For ten years, I was in a covenant with my brokenness draped in the silhouette of what is now my ex-husband. Requiring him to be everything my parents fail to impart in me. That blind decision chained me to an abusive narcissist that reminded me of how small I was daily. Stability, infidelity, abuse, and mental control was his tactic. It worked until it lost its power! I found strength in the Lord and regained knowledge of who I was through God’s word. I went through a 6-year process of developmental self-discovery. During this time, God showed me women who faced the same struggles I experienced. This motivated me to help, teach and develop a foundation with a true understanding of who they are. Through my pain I birthed out, The Process from She to Her. A woman’s developmental program that safely walks you through places in life that may be difficult. While we provide you with understanding, tools, and knowledge of your current state. We intend to liberate you to make decisions through an earnest lens. Providing a form of security and sisterhood that reassures you in your time of processing. Our motto is, “No sister left behind,” which always reminds us to share our testimonies and lift one another up in the time of trouble. You never know who needs our story for a road map to escape into our God given destiny!
We all face challenges but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This road has been far from smooth due to my struggles with procrastination, I define it as the start and stop syndrome. I wasn’t financially inept to help produce my vision and through this I became insecure in the process. It began to make me question was I worthy of such a task. I had to re-evaluate my plan and remember that slow and steady wins the race. This road traveled was a rough one but as I allowed myself to put my trust in God, He has taken me through the terrain into the straight and narrow path of my destiny.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Due to my multifaceted structure, I would say my business is motivational speaking and development. I have over 25 plus years of dance and teaching experience. This is what fueled the artistic build of my company. I specialize in business management and influence which helps structure the mission and vision of my establishment. I am most proud of my family. My husband, Demetrius and my four beautiful children from age of twenty to the tender age of three years old. They are my strength and my balance. They keep me humble and aware of how important life is with them by my side. Through all that I’ve done, I am most known for my inspirational tactics. I am a believer in you are what you believe in, so I pride myself on planting seeds that will help others grow. The thing that sets me apart is my ability to not quit on myself. I believe through Christ I can do all things, so I DO IT! I’ve trained myself to see the glass of a situation half full because when life happens, I can endure through every trial and tribulation.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years, I am expecting a national platform to be established. The Process from She to Her, will be the number one developmental program for women and children. The plan for the next year is to move the setting outside of the Atlanta region into a more remote location to allow the processing to take place freely.
