Check Out Rohan Walker’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rohan Walker

Hi Rohan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story began when I started doing music in middle and high-school with my friends just for fun. My older homie was a producer and he gave me a cracked version of Fruity Loops 11 to practice with. Afterwards I bought a laptop along with some plugins and ever since then I was locked in every day learning how to make beats. Along the way I met another artist (and one of my brothers) .sketch who helped me improve my sound as well and we were just locking in working on music daily. I also helped out a friend whom
I met in highschool with his clothing brand and that experience exposed me to the underground fashion and music scene in ATL. From that point on I was networking meeting with other fellow artists and creatives in the fashion underground trying to get my name out there. After taking some time off to recover from a car accident I was involved in, my brother AirWhick put me on with the current underground scene and helped me get connected with the right people. Since then I’ve really just been working nonstop to earn my respect.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not! From losing everything you’ve work so hard for to almost losing your life in a car crash then recovering from that experience to only deal with another experience of restarting from scratch is very difficult! Most people find it difficult to restart. Many people quit because it’s very hard to accomplish. But I rather die than give up on chasing my dreams.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
First off I’m a music producer. I’ve been making beats since I was in high-school to be honest. Then as time progressed I learned songwriting and engineering. Besides from music, I also model and DJ on the side as well. What sets me apart from others is that I’m always thinking outside the box. I usually tend to stray away from the norm and gravitate towards what’s considered “weird” and “unorthodox”. Doing things most people wouldn’t even consider is what help me stand out from other people .

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
My friends, family and most importantly the fans (really hate using that word. I prefer to call them family but it is what it is). Without them I wouldn’t be here. They’re the reason why I create and give back to the world. Having the ability to always create is a blessing but it doesn’t mean anything if you don’t have anyone to appreciate and enjoy your art.
