Check Out Rosalind Jacobs’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rosalind Jacobs.

Hi Rosalind, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I went to massage school when I was 19 years old, and I fell in love with the wellness industry ever since then. I also learned so much about how I can help become a change agent for others by providing massage therapy. Massage has also helped me achieve my own personal goals in life, so I can be an advocate for promoting wellness. My passion is to help educate others on the importance of self-care and self-awareness. After massage school, I decided to continue my education in health promotion, education, and mental health counseling. For the past several years, I’ve been working as a Licensed Massage Therapist. I provide mobile massage services and wellness education classes. My mission is to always help others with their overall health goal achievements.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I have faced some challenges when it comes to massage therapy being a part of the wellness and healthcare industry. Many people don’t take massage therapy as a form of healthcare. It’s always looked at as just pampering, but  massage really does improve the body with a lot of health benefits and self-care practices.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’ve been a Massage therapist for over 24 years. I also specialize in clinical & therapeutic massage. I love providing chair/ table massages, mobile services, and event planning. I consider myself to be a Holistic provider that integrates many different styles of wellness into educating my clients. I am passionate about what I do, and it translates to the professional services that I provide for my clients.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
I’ve learned that you will be able to naturally gravitate toward your clientele. I honestly love seeing how massage therapy improves the quality of life for others.
