Today we’d like to introduce you to Roxana David.
Hi Roxana, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey began years ago, back in my home country – Romania. I used to often visit the apothecary stores because I’ve always found the scent of herbs to be calming, healing and charged with positivity. Growing up, I have struggled with acne and I remember getting all kinds of handmade creams from these stores to soothe my skin. Years have passed and I have moved to USA and shortly realized that the skincare products that I was now buying had more “hard to read” ingredients than what nature intended. I began to be curious about creating nature-friendly products. With a background in medicine, I decided to enroll in different classes so I can better understand the ins and outs of how we process things.
And so I started creating my first body butter, all-natural & handmade using only seven raw and organic ingredients.
Of course I couldn’t stop there – so I decided to start making cold processed soaps as well. My passion for organic, nature-inspired skin care products is so strong that I continue to create and expand my line with more products that can help everyone’s skin.
I believe we all deserve to have a radiant-looking skin!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It wasn’t always smooth… I had messed up so many times, had to throw away so many batches because they weren’t perfect! But each challenge I encountered made me want this even more! So I kept going and I’m grateful I didn’t give up. Success can only be archived with efforts and sacrifice!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am very organized in everything I do. I take each challenge as a new opportunity to grow stronger and better! I have never dreamed that my products will be sold in stores, that people will come up to me raving about their benefits to their skin…. It makes me feel so humbled to know that I’ve helped so many people! For now, my full-time job is in Catering Sale but my dream is to have Body Love Nature as my only occupation! And I’m confident that I will get there!
What are your plans for the future?
My plan is to have Body Love Nature products sold in many stores worldwide and for my daughter to carry on my legacy for generations to come!
