Today we’d like to introduce you to Roxanne Luciano.
Hi Roxanne, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I grew up in California as well as Georgia and music is my passion. When I was a little girl, I always wanted to be a part of the music industry, and because my father, who has been a major part of the industry as well as a true LEGEND in the industry for all of my life, it almost became second nature for me. My father gave me a big push and so much inspiration. It was bittersweet because I knew that it was a dream and passion for me so I needed to do it on my own timing. My career as an artist started around 2019, although I’ve been involved with music all my life. That is something I am so thankful for is being able to finally find myself and my comfort zone to reach new levels within myself and my music thanks to everyone who is involved in this journey and everyone who has been so supportive along the way. Today I am focusing on releasing my newest single/video, “Drop the Addy”, as well as preparing to release my very first EP!! All of my music is streaming on all platforms and I am major focused on reaching my fullest potential as an artist.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
If I said it was smooth, I’d be lying, lol. Being an artist and everything about this industry is tough, but it’s okay because it’s music and music is what I love. Struggles are anything from challenging your own self to be the best you can be. Finding the confidence to push through negative energy and putting yourself out there to thrive. Having the amazing support of my team, family, friends and supporters is truly what keeps me going without hesitation.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am Roxanne Luciano & I am an artist in the music industry. I released my first single, “Rich Rich” as well as the video in 2020. That was a very proud moment and was the beginning of the rest of my life! Honestly, what truly makes me proud is having so much support and being able to step outside of myself to create and build myself as an artist. What sets me apart from others is that I am truly living to push through envelope. Raw & Rebellious is how I like to describe myself and I feel that because I am always stepping out of my own lane and comfort zone to create, that I simply have no time to worry about being “like” anyone else. When one is not worried about becoming like the rest of the crowd, possibilities are endless.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Take your time. Do NOT allow anyone to tell you that you cannot do something. There is far more power in passion about whatever it is that a person dreams to do. Most importantly, don’t allow your own doubts or fears keep you from achieving your dreams. The only person able to stop you is you!
