Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarai Gonzalez.
Hi Sarai, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
After spending time and building relationships with new clients in Atlanta, I decided I wanted to expand my talent and return to Los Angeles. In the past year, my clientele and reputation as a stylist has upgraded. I learn something new daily, being the entrepreneur and business owner that I am, it has definitely been a voyage, especially doing it all on your own. I work on my social media & human interaction daily to maintain future & past clients loyal to me wherever I go.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely has not been a smooth road, once I decided to become an independent traveling stylist is the biggest leap of faith I took. Some weeks my schedule is unpredictable and I depend on solely my career to provide and expand my business. At one point, my living situation was undetermined, got my tools & equipment to work stolen & a totaled vehicle. Just to name some inconveniences that could happen to anyone but happened to me. Thankful I was able to always push through.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a professional cosmetologist. I specialize in hairstyling and makeup. I am most proud of myself for coming so far at my age. I set goals daily in hopes of achieving them all. I would say my personality, work ethic & true passion for the beauty industry is what sets me apart from most artists.
How do you think about luck?
The inconveniences in my life have helped me in many ways, teaching me lessons and making me improve my mentality every day. As far as the “good luck” I believe has happened to me because of the faith, I always keep and ambition that remains in my passion for my career, as well as my daily life.
