Today we’d like to introduce you to Shaggy Woe.
Hi Shaggy, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Basically it all got started when I was born but that’s just literacy. Me growing up with many siblings molded my lifestyle almost certainly. Different musical taste down the hallway, ill usually catch a vibe on the way to the kitchen to grab some kool aid and sandwich. To put things in detail though, I never wanted to create music or maybe my parents didn’t see that as a pathway for me. Years go by and I find myself in Atlanta with role models and peers who influenced me to become involved with sounds. I started off engineering and playing around on the mic for fun, that soon turned into a stress relief and depression to cope with, something that I’m not too keen to express outside music yet but we’ll get there eh. Mental health is a very important aspect to life for me and I pray we all can achieve a healthy mind. Back to the journey though I now find myself Producing, Writing and Engineering either solo or with some family and friends. Plenty to overcome and to build.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Smooth with perspective but bumpy and full of potholes. Honestly, a struggle for us is getting tired. Not feeling appreciated when you put your all into something. A struggle to find someone to help but don’t because you’re so introverted. These are things you have to grow out of. But slowly, me and my camp when communicate and find what route to take down these random roads. If we all keep some air pressure and breathe when we are tired then we’ll never deflate!
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
First and foremost, I don’t wanna be apart from others. My goal is unique unity. But I specialize in Sound, I’m known for rapping as of now but soon people will realize all I have to offer for mankind. Things that I’m most proud of is still pushing forward and getting back on track when life have necessary pitstops.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Tons of books like The power of now, the four purposes of life, Philosophers book of questions, etc., I enjoy lots of podcasts like Joe Rogans but only for amusement. Some key apps are youtube and google, they are the new universities in my eyes so shout out to everyone who are fellow students attending.
