Check Out Suzanne Salhaney’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Suzanne Salhaney.

Hi Suzanne, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I have dreamed of becoming an actress since I was a small child. Life, however, had its own timeline. That dream was set aside as I embraced motherhood, first welcoming one child, then another. Though my path shifted, the dream never left me.

When my children were grown and in college, I finally gave myself permission to pursue what had always lived in my heart. I committed fully to my craft, worked tirelessly, and trusted the process. That dedication led me to representation in the South, and eventually in New York and Los Angeles. In 2014, I began booking roles. I have continued auditioning and working ever since.

Along the way, I learned an important lesson: you never abandon stability while chasing passion. I built a successful career as a real estate broker beginning in the early 1990s and later opened my own brokerage firm, proving that ambition can thrive in more than one chapter of life.

Today, I am deeply grateful for the journey. Blessed with two children, three grandchildren, and the fulfillment of knowing that dreams don’t expire. With patience, perseverance, and faith, they simply wait for the right moment to be claimed.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing is ever smooth. Hard work, determination and passion keeps me focused. There have been many challenges throughout my life, but I keep going and will continue until I can’t.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am an actress and a real estate broker, and I am incredibly proud of the life I built for my children. After a difficult divorce, I raised them on my own, providing stability, love, and a solid foundation while simultaneously building a successful real estate company and continuing to pursue my passion for acting.

I take deep pride in my children and their accomplishments, knowing the sacrifices and perseverance it took to get us there. What sets me apart is my tenacity. I do not quit. I rise, I rebuild, and I continue moving forward…no matter the challenge.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I love people and believe that most things in life are accomplished through working together. The support of my family and friends means everything to me. I would not be where I am today without the love and guidance of my amazing parents, who are no longer with me. I miss their inspiring talks, their kind hearts, and the unwavering encouragement they gave so freely.
