Today we’d like to introduce you to Tara Elaine.
Hi Tara, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Whew yes! It all started when I was about 13. I remember begging my mom for a digital camera for Christmas. Living in a household with a single mother life wasn’t always easy but she made it happen and let’s just say I got my camera! LOL, I used to spend hours learning YouTube, watching YouTube videos, and filming my own videos. (I wish I still had those videos) I’ve always felt like God placed me here to enlighten and spread joy to others and what better way to reach the masses than by creating video content.
I lost my mom (my best friend) two weeks after my 17th birthday and that’s when I saw how quickly life can shift and how we should live every day to its fullest. Documenting my life through YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok became my outlet to cope with what I was going through and still deal with today.
I’ve learned to live life and enjoy myself which you can see on my social media platforms and I might drop a gem or two here and there that may help someone that’s going through the same things as me. Within the past year, I took the risk to relocate from Dallas, TX to Atlanta, GA and the opportunities and blessings have been endless!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I feel anytime you put yourself on a huge platform with an audience it always has it’s ups and downs. Of course with social media comes critics, opinions, and a lot of people start to show their true colors. I sometimes get negative comments here and there and I’ve even dealt with having to leave some of the people I thought would be here forever. So no it hasn’t been a smooth road but at the end of the day, you have to walk in your purpose no matter who sees or agrees with the vision.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Outside of working in Insurance, you can catch me creating content for myself or different brands like SHEIN, Dossier, Fenty, and Macy’s to name a few. I create lifestyle content so my audience gets a mixture of things from motivational speeches to wine reviews. I’m most proud of my growth LOL self sabotage was a huge thing for me a few years back. Over time I’ve become my biggest cheerleader and I’ve learned not to be so afraid to show my true authentic self and let the world in on my contagious personality. I’m 100% myself no matter what and I feel that sets me apart from others.
