Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Hsia Rowe.
Hi Tiffany, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m a first generation born and raised in Georgia, USA. My parents are from Hong Kong and Malaysia and met here in the States in their early 20s. Growing up, I was a very good daughter and did what my parents told me to do which was to get a good education and a good job. I did exactly that thinking my life would be set. I was lucky enough to get a corporate job in a government consulting firm right after college and also worked part-time as a server. Even though I was making really good money at a very young age, I realized two things after a year or two. First, I didn’t want to work in a corporate environment. It was hard on me and took a toll on my mental, emotional, and physical health. I wanted to be in a position to really make a difference in people’s lives and have my own business but I didn’t know where to start. The second thing is working a full-time job Monday to Friday and then a part-time job on Friday evenings and all day Saturday and Sunday took a toll on me too. My friends slowly stopped inviting me out because I always had the same excuse of “got to sleep early” or “have to work tomorrow.” I also had no time for my family and doing the things that I love. I was miserable. So, I was looking for a better way and looked into different opportunities until I came upon an online business.
When I first saw the concept, I saw the opportunity right away of fueling my passion for helping others and getting the time and freedom I was searching for. I started my online business and built it whenever I had the time which was in the evenings after working my full-time job. Fast forward to where I am today, I have quit both of those jobs and work full-time on my online business. I help my customers find better quality products that improve their life. I also get to mentor people on how to build an online business and to create a supplemental income which will give them more options in life. I’ve also gone to build other businesses including a real estate investing business, website design business, and financial consulting business. There have been plenty of ups and downs along the way including tears, arguments, sacrifice, failure, fears, disappointment, and hard work but I wouldn’t change any of it. It’s true that what you focus on will come to life. The lifestyle I wanted several years ago is the lifestyle I’m currently living and I wake up every day blown away by it sometimes. The most important thing is to never give up no matter what people have to say about what you’re doing because in the end, this is your life. Not theirs. So ultimately, it’s your choice. Thank you for the opportunity to share my story. I’m beyond grateful.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has definitely not been a smooth road which is like life. Life has ups and downs too. Some of the challenges have been losing friends but you also find friends who stick with you and cheer you on. The saying is also true of people asking you why and then asking you how. When I started my online business, I had many people ask me why I started it, some people made fun of me, and others didn’t believe I would succeed. Now, people come to me and ask me how I did it. How I got to where I am today because they want a similar lifestyle as me. I think the biggest challenge is belief in yourself. It’s the hardest. Most people get defeated by that. I’ve seen it happen to people around me time and time again. If you don’t believe in yourself, then you’re not going to make it. However, you can do something about it as long as you continuously work on yourself and your mindset. It happened to me so it can happen to you too. I sure didn’t believe in myself when I first started my online business but the things I did right were surround myself around people who did believe in me until I believed in myself and always seek to improve myself every single day. I also had to confront and work through some of my fears such as fear of failure and fear of not being enough. I’ve overcome some of them and I’m still working on some others. For those fears I’ve overcome, I’ve changed my perspective on them and also worked with a coach/mentor to get through it.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Even though I have multiple businesses, my main focus is my online business which has two components. One is helping customers find better quality products to improve their life and the other is mentoring people to build their online business so they can create more options in life. In anything that I do, I make sure I put all my effort into it. I’m most proud of really being able to make people’s lives better whether that’s through products or services. Because of this, I have several loyal customers who keep coming back to me for great quality products and the people that I’ve mentored become better at financial management and improve their mindset. Some of them have gone to create other businesses as well. It’s also important to have a great team and system in place for any business. However, the most important thing is to actively listen to any person that you come into contact with especially your customers and your team which is how we deliver value and what sets all of my businesses apart from others who are doing similar things.

People can work with me if they want to start their own online business. I’m also looking to expand my website design business and have some internship opportunities available.
