Today we’d like to introduce you to Trey More.
Hi Trey, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. Throughout my childhood and young adult life, I witnessed violence and drugs, but I was able to maneuver my way out of the streets. At the age of seven, I remember my mom exposing me to poetry. It was not long until poetry led me to artistically tap into my personal life experiences and create my first 16.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey hasn’t been smooth, there’s been a lot of ups and downs. But, during those low moments, I was able to sit back and figure out who I am. One of the hardest things about the music industry is being yourself when everyone around you wants to change who you are. So it’s more of a battle fighting to be myself because being me is what led me to so many opportunities. I will always focus on being myself because everyone else is already taken.

I’m an artist, I specialize in storytelling. My life experiences are the reason why I tell stories.
