Check Out Ty Hands’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ty Hands.

Hi Ty, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is TY-44 (aka, Ty Hands). I’m a 22 year old musician and model. Growing up with the background of academics and athletics, music was never my number one focus. I didn’t realize my passion for music until I came in contact with my current producers R- Tillery and TK. In the time of three years, I have accumulated over 1.5 million streams on Spotify and other streaming platforms. Thanks to the music that I have made and the connections that I’ve fostered throughout the industry, I’ve been blessed enough to move beyond music and into the world of fashion. Everything that I do is to try and get closer to my most creative version of myself. In these three years, I’ve-grown to use music and fashion to express and influence the ones around me. I’m very excited to see what the future holds for my music and for upcoming fashion collaborations.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I don’t think any road is easy. I faced so many complications with relationships with family and friends and even people in this industry. I think everyone is fighting to be the best version of their selves

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My name is Ty 44. I am a 22-year-old professional recording artist and a model out of West Palm Beach, Florida. I’m best known for my most popular songs, “Didn’t Know”, “Reckless”, and “Arnold”. In the fashion world, I am best known for my collaborations with the best and upcoming stylists and brands. I’m most proud of my newest partnership with Upstate sound recordings and the love I’ve been receiving from my latest release. What sets me apart from other creatives is my versatility and originality. On another note, what also sets me apart is my team and the people I have around me. Everyone to my producer, my stylist, and even to my family and friends pushes me beyond my means.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
An interesting lesson I learned as a creative during the covid-19 crisis is the importance of being more than just one-dimensional. I learned that having multiple streams of income and being multifaceted is the best way to become that independent and overall entrepreneur that you want to be. That’s honestly what inspired me to branch out my influence to things beyond music. I found myself searching for creative outlets to throw myself into the outside of music during the pandemic. Luckily, I stumbled into fashion and playing with aesthetics. But the importance of being more than just a one-dimensional creative or business owner is the lesson I learned.
