Joy Event Rentals was founded by a husband and wife team who were no strangers to the event world. As the owners of a respected video production company and a complementary creative design studio, they had spent the last 15 years standing behind cameras, crafting visuals, and supporting countless weddings and community gatherings across Georgia. They knew how deeply families cherish these moments, and how many details go into making them unforgettable. Launching an event rental company felt less like a new venture and more like the next natural step in a story already in motion.

Like most new ventures, the early path was paved with both excitement and unexpected challenges. When we first began building our inventory, we quickly realized that event rentals are far more than beautiful items. Behind every tent and table lies a complex dance of logistics. Warehousing, transportation, scheduling, weather limitations, last-minute changes, early-morning drop-offs and late-night pick-ups, everything has to be orchestrated perfectly. We learned fast, and we learned by doing.
But our biggest revelation wasn’t operational, it was emotional.
We discovered that to truly stand out, we had to offer more than equipment. We needed to offer care. So we built our approach around genuine connection. Instead of starting with, “What do you need to rent?” we begin with, “Tell us about your celebration.” We call it the Joy Effect.
