Today we’d like to introduce you to Zemo.
Hi Zemo, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Whats going on guys ! My name Zemo ! Being an entertainer has always been a passion of mine. It’s something about being in the front of the camera and having the spotlight that brings joy to me. Skating has always been something I enjoyed but I could never prepare myself for where and what it would take me. Since I was younger skating has been a hobby of mine. In grade school, I was the best on the wheels. My middle school used to hold this “Lock Ins” which they would rent out the rinks and the school would come and skate for hours! After I graduated High school I was introduced into a whole new world of skating. Adult night sessions, and when I say it was in complete shock! I didn’t know people could be so talented on skates! It made me look like I had no clue what I was doing on my skates. But it fueled me to become a better skater . Listening and learning from the OG’s helped mold and shaped me. Eventually, opportunities started to come and from then I knew I’ve found what would help be to be the star that I knew I say myself as. Skating has opened so many doors for me. From creator a skate crew, skating with celebrities like usher, Jermaine Dupri. Performing on the billboard stage, music videos, movies, TV shows, magazines, and even gave me the platform to start my own organization WACC which stands for We Are Content Creators. I created it so other creators like me can have a platform that we all can work together and go after or dreams! I will be forever grateful for skating because it was my first true love and brought me so much success. Now because of it, I’m able to share to the world the other hidden talents that my supporters didn’t know I had with my dancing, acting, music artistry and so much more.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like anything you work hard for, there will always be struggles. When I started my first skate crew, I believed I found the team that would break the world and set the tune for performing skaters but we all didn’t have the same goals or even goals changed along the way. Which I don’t think is a bad thing because at the end everyone should be getting closer to there goals ! So I decided to take a leap of faith and leave to venture off in my own direction now that I had a better understanding of my dreams. It wasn’t an easy choice of mine and it felt like I had to completely start over. From branding and building and finding the team that are in sync with the dream. It took some time and still in the building process but it was definitely worth it! I took the chance on betting on myself and left my 9-5. I’ve been enjoying the process. I know the road may be bumping but it’s worth the fight because the reward and the process is all worth it.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a Social media Influencer, Social media Manager, Creative Director, Videographer, Dancer, Artist, and soon to become business owner, and mentor. I’m known for business and helping others realize their potential. What sets me different from others is my heart, the love and care that I have for everyone around me and fueling them to see that there’s so much more to life then we can see in front of us. We just have to figure out how to see what we don’t see so we all can live the best life that we dreamed of having plus more!
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something that people who know me wouldn’t know about me is how deep in the business I am. I run over 30 Pages and work tirelessly to ensure that they all doing their best. I stay up most nights and don’t get a lot of sleep because of the drive of pushing to be great. A lot of people see the end results but not what it actually took to get there.
