Community Highlights: Meet Allison D. Mitchell and Ray Bronson of FireFlix360*

Today we’d like to introduce you to Allison D. Mitchell and Ray Bronson.

Hi Allison, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Both Ray’s and my mantra in life, for the entirety of our lives, as cliche as the saying is, is to “live life to the fullest because you never know when your last day is your last.”

I personally have always been one that has loved capturing memories in the form of videos and photos. I’ve always been known as the “memory capturer” (literally a family nickname!) since I was a little girl. You will almost never find me without my iPhone in my hand (2009-current); my pink Kodak digital camera (early-mid 2000s); or my Kodak disposable camera (1990s) at any meaningful event or gathering, no matter the size. I’ve always had this “thing” where if I were to ever lose my memories (God forbid), I’d want to have all of the awesome and significant happenings in my life captured in a permanent fashion where I can look at those photos and videos and instantly feel the way I did in those moments – JOY and HAPPINESS. In places that I love, participating in experiences that bring me pleasure, and most importantly, with the people who I love and adore wholeheartedly.

And to go the extra mile – YES – with my iPhone, I’m very timely in posting photos and reels to my social media pages, and videos to my stories + making creating highlights. With my digital Kodak camera – this was back when Facebook was the only “real” social media account – I definitely was known for instantly uploading photos to the photo album page on my account, writing a caption (then it was just called “post”), and sharing with everyone who was involved in that event, and with my Kodak disposable camera, Walgreens and I had a great relationship, because I was very timely in taking my camera there to develop my photos AND organize them in their own section – time-stamped and dated – in my physical photo album. I told you – I really care about capturing life’s best memories in different and fun ways. I always have 🙂

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The reception to our brand and our offerings and our mission has been well-received and super positive thus far, which is fantastic, since what we do and what we offer fits any group with any demographics, anywhere. We are very strategic in how we work and operate. We’ve been building our brand since mid-2021, and officially launched on March 29 this year. Everything we do is intentional and well-thought-out regarding who are clients are throughout the metro and what types of services and offerings that they would be looking for. We’ve made some great relationships and partnerships with festivals and shows around the city, too! Check us out and see what we’re all about and what we have to offer your event or gathering at the Austell Food & Arts Festival on Saturday, June 25 and at the Atlanta Wedding Extravaganza in Alpharetta on Sunday, August 7.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about FireFlix360*?
The more I celebrate life, the more I realize that there’s actually a lot in life to celebrate. My Co-Founder & Co-CEO-now-fiance (!), Ray, and I decided in 2021, as the world has slowly but steadily started to transition to a life post-COVID-19 pandemic, that we should spread our life mantra and our passion for capturing memories permanently in a super extraordinary way. We’ve all had a hard 2+ years. In one way or another, COVID strained us, either mentally, physically, emotionally, financially, or (D), all of the above. And if not us, then someone we know and/or care for.

Beginning in 2022 and beyond, FireFlix360 is our message to everyone in every direction in and throughout metro Atlanta that although the world has changed and shifted in MANY different ways in recent years, both positively and negatively, as long as you and your loved ones are still here on this Earth breathing that glorious air called “life”, you only have one to live – don’t take that for granted! COVID, if nothing else, taught us that.

We are here to uniquely & permanently capture the fun and should-be unforgettable moments in time, forever. We are inundated with negative happenings throughout the world so much these days. FireFlix360 exists today to help people resonate in the life moments that will live positively forever in their minds, and as a backup, in an exclusive digital video and photo form.

What were you like growing up?
Allison – I was born and raised 20 minutes west of Cleveland, Ohio.

I’ve always been very active – I’m that person who had her core group of friends but always had friends in different interest groups as well, throughout school, college, grad school, and now in adulthood. I love to be involved in lots of things – I love to stay busy. I was always in academic, social, and athletic activities throughout my childhood and youth. I love sports (football, volleyball, and basketball are my favs! Go Browns, Go Buckeyes, Go Orange!), music (I play the flute and have since middle school – but if you look at my playlists on my devices, I have songs from every era since the 1950s, in almost every genre. Variety is the spice of life!). I went to my first international destination on vacation at age eight – Nassau, Bahamas with my family – and my love of travel with different cultures, foods, experiences, and languages – was sparked from there. I bleed Orange through and through – I graduated from Syracuse University with my bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and am an alumni leader in the Southeast and in metro Atlanta, serving on various councils currently.

I’ve always been a straight-shooter, personality-wise. I love a good plan – I know what I want when I want it, and how I’m going to get it. I’m a natural leader, and I work hard, play hard. I’m very self-determined, self-motivated, and self-confident. I see life with a “glass half full”, and I see mishappenings and negativities in life as learning lessons, not to be held onto forever. I love my family very much, and my best friends – they mean the world to me. I’m outgoing, I love adventure, I love to have fun, I have a twinge of spontaneity and impulsivity, and I would have nothing in my life without the power and graciousness of God. 100%.

BONUS – I’m a birthday fanatic. For those closest to me, and definitely for mine – EVERY single year! I go all out, regardless of age. The milestones get the biggest celebrations (wink). Every year that I make it with life throughout my body and my loved ones’ bodies is another year to celebrate that gift.

Ray – I was born and raised in The Bronx, New York.

I’ve always been a very outgoing and people person – I’m the one who can walk in a place, meet a complete stranger and leave feeling like we have known each other forever. Since childhood, I fell in love with sports and the dance floor so being the center of attention with cameras on me just feels natural. I love to stay busy as well as travel. My very first trip as a child was to the Bahamas with my family when I was only nine months old and I haven’t stopped traveling since. I graduated from Norfolk State University with my bachelor’s degree, and am an alumni leader in the Atlanta Alumni Chapter, serving on the executive board currently.

I’ve always been fun, loving, and easy to talk to personality-wise. I love having a proactive plan but am always able to adapt to any situation that may arise. I love to live life from an optimistic view and searching for the good in every situation. I truly believe every single thing happens for a reason, now whether it’s a good or bad one is up to us to figure out and learn from. I am a God-fearing and family man who wants to build generational wealth to pass down to my kids who will be able to keep it going.
