Community Highlights: Meet Ameer Abraham of Green and Gold Enterprises LLC =’

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ameer Abraham.

Hi Ameer, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Sure, I’d love to share my journey. I’m a Guyanese-American and a first-generation American, and my story really began with the values I learned early on. I was working with family at 12 years old and eventually earned an engineering degree at Georgia Southern University. But somewhere along the way, I realized my true passion was entrepreneurship. I had a burning desire to build something of my own that could serve others and create real impact.

I started my barber journey 12 years ago and grew that passion into a luxury barber studio called Royal Blessings, where we’re all about “blessing one head at a time” with a top-tier grooming experience. From there, I branched out into the world of credit and business funding with my company Green & Gold Enterprises. I’ve been able to help clients secure funding, improve their credit, and transform their financial futures, with a strong focus on trust, transparency and community.

What got me here is a mix of hard work, a love for innovation, and a desire to uplift others. I’m always exploring new ways to grow; like being featuring on podcast, writing eBooks, and even scaling a Turo fleet. I’m super passionate about bringing others along for the ride. It’s been a journey of turning lessons into stepping stones, and I’m excited to see where it leads next.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s definitely been far from a smooth road, and I’d say some of the biggest struggles I faced ended up becoming the greatest blessings in disguise.

First, one major challenge was making the tough decision to not follow the traditional path of using my engineering degree. I had a lot of external pressure and not a whole lot of support in choosing a different route, but I had to trust my own instincts. Walking away from that “safe” path was a leap of faith that really set the stage for everything I’ve built since.

Second, another big hurdle came when I was working under an apprenticeship. After investing 20 months of hard work, that opportunity was suddenly cut short and I basically had to start from scratch on my barbering journey. That was a real test of resilience, but it also taught me to rebuild stronger and more determined than ever.

And third, an unexpected yet life-changing moment was the arrival of my son. It wasn’t something I had planned at that time, but it turned out to be the greatest blessing. It pushed me to grow not just as an entrepreneur, but as a father, a provider, and a better person overall. Each of these challenges shaped who I am today and fueled my drive to succeed.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
When it comes to Green & Gold Enterprises, the first thing we like to do is tackle that elephant in the room. The misconception that credit repair and funding services can be a scam. We know that’s a concern for a lot of people, and that’s exactly why we’re all about transparency and trust.

One of the core things that sets us apart is the foundation we’ve built on personal relationships. My experience in growing a successful six-figure barber business taught me the real value of building and cherishing those one-on-one connections. It’s about truly understanding people, taking care of their needs, and making sure they know they’re valued. That same mindset is at the heart of Green & Gold.

So, when we talk about common misconceptions, we do it by showing our clients that we back up our promises with a money-back guarantee and a zero-dollar upfront policy for funding. We’ve managed to outperform bigger companies simply by being that trustworthy, transparent partner who truly cares. And if there’s one thing I want readers to know, it’s that Green & Gold is here to prove that good, honest companies do exist, and we’re one of them.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
When it comes to finding a mentor, my biggest piece of advice is to skip the fluff and look for real results. In other words, don’t just go by what someone claims or posts online. If you have the opportunity to actually meet that person, step into their environment, or attend their events, do that first before spending a single penny. We live in a world where it’s easy to create an illusion of success online, and a lot of people sell unrealistic expectations. That’s how people end up spending money in places that weren’t really designed for them to win.

Every mentor I truly value is someone I have a personal relationship with. We talk on a level that goes beyond just business. They actually care about my well-being, my growth, my family, and my overall journey. If you don’t feel that genuine connection, if it doesn’t resonate in your gut that this person is in it to help you, not just to make a quick buck, then they’re not the right mentor for you.

Also, don’t feel like you need to stick to just one mentor. I have several mentors for different areas of my life and business. It’s been to my benefit to get diverse perspectives and blend those insights together. In the end, the right mentor is someone who gives you real tools, real support, and genuinely wants to see you succeed as a whole person.
