Today we’d like to introduce you to Bethany Schneider.
Hi Bethany, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I was raised in Franklin, Tennessee, and I knew from a young age that I was destined to be a lawyer, fiercely advocating for justice. That calling led me to the University of Georgia, where I earned dual degrees in Journalism and Political Science, graduating Phi Beta Kappa with highest honors in 2005. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law with honors in 2009. There, my competitive spirit flourished on the mock trial team, earning me the coveted Best Advocate award among my graduating class.
I began my legal career at the international law powerhouse King & Spalding LLP, where from 2009 to 2018, I served on the firm’s nationally recognized tort litigation team, serving in a trial role on 24 multi-million-dollar trials.
In 2018, I felt called to use my talents to bring Fortune 50-caliber representation to injured individuals and opened my trial boutique personal injury law firm – Schneider Injury Law. I chose the Lioness as my firm logo because it stands for female strength and the qualities that embody my firm values – compassionate counselor + tough advocate.
Over the past 7 years, I’ve been blessed to have obtained more than $50 million in results for my clients and tried more than 15 trials, including a $7 million products case, $5.5 million mild brain injury case, several $1+ cases, among other 7- and 6-figure verdicts and settlements.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being a female in the world of personal injury trial law means navigating a profession that, even today, is still largely male-dominated. I’ve walked into courtrooms where opposing counsel assumed I was the court reporter. I’ve been talked over, second-guessed, and underestimated—but never unprepared. I learned early on that if I wanted to be taken seriously, I had to outwork and outperform everyone in the room. That pressure has sharpened me. It’s made me more deliberate, more strategic, and more relentless in the way I advocate for my clients.
But the challenges haven’t stopped at the edge of the courtroom. Running my own firm has been one of the most rewarding and exhausting things I’ve ever done. There’s a constant hustle—balancing trial prep with marketing strategy, making payroll, mentoring staff, and thinking five steps ahead for the business while still showing up fully for every single client. There’s no clocking out. It’s a grind, and some days it feels like I’m sprinting on a treadmill that never slows down. But every victory—whether it’s a life-changing verdict or seeing a client finally feel heard—makes the work worth it.
The truth is, building something of your own, especially as a female in this space, means carrying a lot on your shoulders. But it also means you get to lead with your values, build a team that reflects your vision, and create a career that feels like it matters. And for me, that’s everything.
We’ve been impressed with Schneider Injury Law, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Schneider Injury Law is a proudly female-owned and operated personal injury law firm, built on the belief that compassion and toughness can—and should—go hand in hand. We specialize in serious injury cases, with a focus on delivering life-changing results through fierce advocacy, meticulous attention to detail, and deeply personalized client care.
What sets us apart isn’t just our courtroom experience or our seven and eight-figure results—it’s how we treat the people behind the cases. We are known for being both compassionate counselors and fearless litigators. Our clients aren’t just case files—they’re people we get to know, fight for, and stand beside from start to finish. That personal connection is what fuels us to work harder, dig deeper, and deliver a level of excellence that defines our brand.
As a woman-led firm in a traditionally male-dominated field, we take pride in doing things differently. We listen. We care. We show up prepared, strategic, and unafraid to go to trial when justice demands it. Whether we’re helping a family rebuild after a catastrophic injury or holding a negligent corporation accountable, our work is guided by integrity, grit, and a tireless commitment to doing what’s right.
Brand-wise, what I’m most proud of is that our reputation is rooted in authenticity. Clients come to us because they’ve heard we’ll treat them like people—not numbers—and fight like hell for them in court. They call me the “bulldog.” We offer more than just legal services; we offer support, strategy, and strength when our clients need it most.
At Schneider Injury Law, we don’t just promise results—we deliver them, with heart.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Despite being a trial lawyer who thrives in high-stakes, high-pressure environments, I can also be introspective. People see me in court—commanding a room, cross-examining witnesses, making arguments—and assume I’m always “on.” But outside the courtroom, I recharge in quiet moments. I value deep connection over small talk, and I think that’s part of why I form such strong bonds with my clients. I don’t just want to win their case—I want to understand their story. That quiet empathy, paired with a fierce drive to fight for justice, has shaped the heart of my brand more than most people realize.
