Hi Braylon, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
During my teenage years, I found myself making a series of poor decisions that would ultimately lead to a life-altering event. On that fateful night, I and someone I hold dear as my brother found ourselves entangled in a harrowing car accident that left behind a lasting impression on us forever. The wreckage was so severe that one would expect us to emerge with serious injuries, but somehow, we walked away unscathed. This incident served as a profound awakening for me, solidifying my faith in God, which had been instilled in me through my upbringing in the church. Recognizing the need for change, I redirected my focus toward my future after high school.
In my junior year, I embarked on a journey of exploration, seeking out different paths and opportunities. I was fortunate enough to find a mentor who became a guiding figure in my life, akin to a big brother. Under his guidance, I delved into the realm of digital marketing, eager to absorb knowledge and skills. As I approached the age of 18, I made a pivotal decision to forgo college and pursue a path of continuous learning within the field of digital marketing.
After a series of meetings and teachings from my mentor, I secured my first internship with a prominent global supply chain and logistics company, immersing myself in the world of digital marketing. Shortly after this, I moved out of my household and started my true journey of becoming an adult. It was during this challenging period that I experienced nights of hunger and hardship, but it only fueled my determination to succeed. Simultaneously, I recognized the importance of expanding my skill set, so I ventured into the realm of IT, acquiring expertise in that field as well. This led to a job opportunity with a prestigious Aviation Mechanic school where I provided IT support to the faculty, staff, and students when I was merely 19 years old.
Later that year, an exciting opportunity presented itself in the digital marketing industry as I joined an agency. During my time at the agency, I had the opportunity to refine my industry skills and simultaneously cultivate a growing fascination with drones, recognizing the vast potential they held within the field. In addition to my agency work, I began undertaking side projects, working with construction companies, capturing weddings, and collaborating with various creative individuals throughout Atlanta and other cities.
Presently, I find myself deeply immersed in the realm of digital marketing and aerial services, exhilarated by the prospect of collaborating with diverse creatives, whether they be businesses or individuals. Throughout my journey, I have learned to derive valuable lessons from both favorable and adverse circumstances. I am immensely grateful to everyone who has supported and assisted me along the way, and I attribute much of my growth to their unwavering encouragement.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Life has presented its fair share of challenges, demanding resilience and adaptation. Adversities have been frequent companions on my journey, as circumstances can swiftly shift in an instant. However, I firmly believe that within every problem lies a valuable lesson waiting to be discovered. Embracing this perspective fosters adaptability, empowering me to face future obstacles with greater strength. Despite the hurdles I’ve encountered, I refrain from dwelling on complaints. I am keenly aware of the inherent hardships and injustices that exist in the world, which serves as a constant reminder of the significant suffering some endure. This awareness fuels my determination to navigate life’s challenges with grace, empathy, and a resolute appreciation for the blessings amidst the chaos.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
One thing I love most about the city is its vibrant community of black entrepreneurs. It serves as an unparalleled hub, offering abundant opportunities to connect and network with like-minded individuals who share a common vision. This unique aspect sets it apart from many other cities, making it an ideal environment to foster meaningful connections within my own community.
I have nothing bad to say about the city. Although we all know it can get crazy without warning, it’s a dedicated love I have for Atlanta.
