Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Reed
Hi Brittany, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I got my real estate license in 2018 and started out as a buyer’s agent. I quickly found myself loving the transaction coordination side of the business, which includes handling paper work, keeping track of deadlines and managing the entire transaction process until closing. I guess you can say my OCD side took over!
Now I own my own business which offers listing and transaction management service’s to real estate agents. I remain licensed in GA so that I can offer the best service and knowledge to my clients.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
This is my first business where I am solely working for myself, by myself. I absolutely love it but there is also an emotional roller coaster aspect that is new to me. Navigating wearing multiple hats in my business- doing the marketing, sales and the job itself was/is a learning curve.
With that being said, I feel incredibly blessed to be in a position to have my own business, work for myself and also have the support of my clients who trust me with their real estate transactions and also their clients.
As you know, we’re big fans of The Closings Pro. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My business is called The Closings Pro. We handle listing input and transaction management for real estate professionals. Our main goal is once our agents go under contract with their buyers or sellers on a property, they hand over the transaction to us and we manage the paperwork, deadlines, office brokerage compliance, communicating with the clients, lenders, attorneys, and all other parties involved to make sure closing happens smoothly and on time.
When real estate agents uses our services, we can save them up to 16 hours per transaction in paperwork so that their time is freed up to help more clients or enjoy the work life balance they are looking for.
Our reputation is everything, we pride ourselves on the service we offer to all of our agents and their clients to make sure that one of the biggest purchases someone can make feels like a breeze.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Covid is actually when I transitioned from working as an agent to working on the transaction coordination side of the business, things slowed down drastically for a couple months and the remote ability of the TC world became very attractive.
I always thought that I would try to get back into the selling side of real estate one day but I feel in love with this job and have continued this full time ever since.
I look at it as a blessing in disguise!
