Today, we’d like to introduce you to Candice Sinisgalli.
Hi Candice, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve loved fashion since I was a little kid. My mom used to walk me through malls when I was super young, and it became my happy place! I started working in retail as soon as I was old enough and got to share my love of styling and clothing at different stores and boutiques.
I studied business management in college while also getting some experience in the wholesale side of the industry throughout internships. After that, I managed a locally owned clothing boutique where I really got to see the ins & outs of owning your own business. That ultimately led me to opening Nina + Leigh!
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not exactly! A few months after opening Nina + Leigh, the COVID pandemic began. While I expected plenty of challenges, this was an unexpected hurdle.
I quickly learned how important it was to adapt to change during these times, which ended up being really helpful as other challenges have popped up. Honestly, every day there is something new to learn and a new problem to solve, but that keeps things interesting!
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Nina + Leigh is a women’s clothing boutique located in Alpharetta, Georgia at the Halcyon shopping center. I pride my store on having a really unique selection of clothing paired with a team ready to help you style it.
Every single item in the store is hand picked by me, and I’m really passionate about what goes into the store! You’ll find things here you haven’t seen anywhere else and also learn how to style it in different ways.
